A3: I think speaking about it, although can be very hard, it helps to conceptualize what U have been experiencing. To see that in writing can help make sense from something that does at times feel senseless...U cannot force someone to share, but U can encourage. #elevatetheconvo.
Q3: How did you prepare to share your story for #GutsGritGrind? What were biggest lessons learned & tools you found useful in your #healing from emotional pain? What would you tell other men who are thinking abt sharing their journey in #recovery? #ElevateTheConvo@GutsGritGrind
A2: When I was 17, I lost my father to suicide. I was overwhelmed with emotions & feelings of abandonment, resentment, anger, confusion, and sadness. I often wasnβt sure where to go when seeking help. I felt like no one would understand what I was going through. #ElevateTheConvo
