What happens to the credit owed by an energy company when it goes bust when the customer has already switched? I switched 21 days prior to the end of my contract (31st September) but my final bill (approx £400 credit) and is yet to be settled and refunded #MartinLewis

@itvMLshow Whilst there's plenty of advice out there for customers with energy companies that have gone bust, there's nothing for those already in mid switch when this crisis arose. Will credit owed be paid back? And by whom? My new company will not take the debt.
