@EHensby@DrNighatArif@DrHilaryJones Dr Hilary is not accepting responses to this on his profile. I questioned his 4 week recovery. I had the op last year and could not operate safely without at least one crutch at 4 weeks! I was told my op was prioritised because I was early 50s. Older people are not.
@ITV’s @loosewomen doctors programme was great. Apart from @DrHilaryJones’ hip replacement. At 72 he said he was there with no crutches 4 weeks after surgery. Great for him! Many patients take a lot longer to recover. For many reasons. Should have been said. Not an easy op.
If you are not across the WASPI story and the arguments on both sides - do listen back to @NickyAACampbell’s phone in on @bbc5live on @BBCSounds. A great range of opinions and views. Should women be compensated for not knowing that the state pension age moved in the 90s?
@80s_Kidz Bought my first artificial Xmas tree as an adult from the Woolworths in Keswick 24 years ago. Still going strong. Cost £14.99 it says on the box!
@PeterBleksley I work in central London 3 or 4 days a week. I keep my phone hidden and my bag zipped and close to my body. No drama. Just common sense. I behave the same in Watford.
@LouiseLearJones @RevRichardColes 😂😂I thought exactly the same. People were always going to focus on the “one”, and it takes away a bit of the overall joy
@Matt_Pinner@realfritzhaas My kids could do it to an extent in recent years. It depends where you live. They grew up in a small village in SW Hertfordshire. Everyone knew everyone. It was quite rural - they could walk or bike around. There were woods for them to play in.
Ruth Jones for me was the highlight of the finale. Truly heartbreaking in every way. Beautifully written and played.
This to me, is a masterpiece of telly. They could have so easily made Nessa not care about the wedding but they didn’t. They made her human. You felt it.
