@blknoiz06
Polymarket just told you peace is permanent, the document in their own hands says it lasts 60 days
First, the event. On June 14 the US and Iran signed a memorandum of understanding, a 60-day interim framework that extends the ceasefire, reopens the Strait of Hormuz, lifts the naval blockade, with formal signing pushed to June 19 in Switzerland and every hard issue (enrichment limits, uranium stockpiles, sanctions, frozen assets) deferred to later talks
Next, the rules. Polymarket's own contract requires a signed treaty or definitive confirmation from both governments, statements of progress do not count, and it explicitly excludes a temporary ceasefire extension as a qualifying event. By their own wording, an interim MOU with a signing still days away is not a permanent peace deal
And now the part that matters. June 15 is sitting at 99% YES across $355M in volume, status still In Review, because that is where the whale money parked, not because anything got signed. A Bloomberg analysis found nine wallets control more than half the UMA tokens that decide disputes, the bond to propose a resolution is $750 on a nine-figure market, and the WSJ caught judges betting on their own cases
This is not new. Mineral deal resolved YES on a pact that never existed, Venezuela 2024 saw them override their own rules, Zelenskyy's suit flipped from YES to NO across $237M against plain media consensus. Same pattern every time, ambiguous wording plus concentrated UMA plus override
and the cruelest detail, Mustafa promised this would not happen again on June 5
this market broke ten days later
fix the resolution layer or stop calling it a prediction market, right now it's a casino where the house picks the winner after the bell
Two fundamentally similar Polymarket markets. Same date. Same Iran–US agreement context. Different outcomes.
Market 1 had serious volume, attracted whales, was disputed multiple times, and the YES side was effectively blocked through UMA voting:
https://t.co/GzG0x4JwJl
Market 2 had smaller volume, little whale interest, and the outcome was obvious:
https://t.co/wiItBKeWce
This is exactly the problem.
When the facts are similar but the result changes depending on who has money, who controls votes, and who can afford endless disputes, that is not a fair prediction market.
In the event chat, a large holder allegedly said before the vote that YES could not win and that everything had already been decided — while debates were still ongoing.
Prediction markets should resolve facts, not reward the side with deeper pockets.
This is not just one bad market. It is a structural failure.
@Polymarket
we're going to sue @shayne_coplan and @Polymarket based on the scam they did here: https://t.co/O9Dl4WeK3e

We would like to draw your attention to #Polymarket, which has caused thousands of traders to lose millions of dollars due to what we believe is coordinated manipulation of the @Polymarket dispute resolution system by #UMA token holders. We sent a request to @Polymarket support. We received no response or intervention. However, we know they are aware of the situation.
The market in question concerns the question of whether the United States and Iran reached a permanent peace deal by June 15, 2026 (https://t.co/ssvRjbmKRS). Over $400 million was wagered on this single market. The terms of the contract were clear: a qualifying agreement had to “explicitly indicate that military hostilities between the United States and Iran have ended or will permanently cease.” Temporary ceasefires and interim agreements, by the market’s own rules, were explicitly excluded.
On June 14, President Trump announced an agreement - but he himself called it an “interim agreement” and a “temporary measure.” (https://t.co/hsszxYasRM); (https://t.co/rjkzdieEUz). His own words confirmed it was NOT a permanent peace deal. As of today, there is still no signed permanent peace treaty between the United States and Iran.
Today, June 17, Trump also stated for the second time that this is not yet final and the deal is still to come. This is confirmed by @Reuters and @guardian (https://t.co/JeEeqGlJHM); (https://t.co/bTcr7ydBOJ) @axios
Despite this, UMA token holders have voted overwhelmingly to resolve the market as “YES.” They are effectively ruling that an interim, temporary agreement qualifies as a “permanent peace deal” under the contract, directly contradicting the market’s own rules.
The UMA voting system is not a fair and impartial arbitration process. Investigations by @Bloomberg, @WSJ, @CryptoTimes_io (https://t.co/FjdFjQSjuq); (https://t.co/9wJgxF15Mq) and others have revealed that:
Nine wallets control roughly half of all UMA voting power on Polymarket disputes. A handful of anonymous individuals hold the power to decide the outcome of billions of dollars in contracts. At least 60% of active UMA voters can be linked to live Polymarket trading accounts - meaning they are not neutral arbiters, but active participants in the very markets they are judging. They are referees who also bet on the game. Roughly one in five disputes involves a voter with a direct financial stake in the contract they are ruling on. They are not impartial; they are incentivized to rule in favor of their own positions. "UMA rocks", a platform that allows UMA holders to pool voting power, was forced to remove a committee member in April 2026 over allegations of market manipulation. The system is so compromised that even its own participants have been caught engaging in manipulative conduct.
A Wall Street Journal (@WSJ) investigation found that in most disputed Polymarket markets, over half of the votes come from the ten largest wallets. Polymarket’s disputes are not decided by a fair and decentralized community - they are decided by a handful of anonymous whales who have the power to override the rules and the facts.
This is not a decentralized arbitration system. This is a rigged game. The $400 million Iran peace market is just the latest and perhaps the largest - example of a structural failure that has been building for years. Since January 2026, over 1,150 disputed orders on Polymarket have been decided by this broken UMA voting system. Each dispute is a potential opportunity for manipulation.
We are asking you to investigate this matter thoroughly. The UMA voters who decided to ignore the clear terms of this market have effectively stolen from thousands of traders who played by the rules. They have taken money that does not belong to them. This is not a semantic disagreement - this is fraud.
We also call on you to investigate the broader conflict of interest embedded in Polymarket’s dispute resolution structure. How is it legal for individuals with direct financial stakes in a market to vote on that same market’s outcome? How is it legal for a handful of anonymous wallets to hold the power to decide the fate of $400 million contracts? How is it possible that Polymarket’s own administration claims to have no authority to intervene when a dispute system is being used to defraud its users?
We ask that the appropriate agencies:
1) Investigate the UMA token holders who voted to resolve the Iran peace market as “YES” for potential fraud and market manipulation.
2) Investigate Polymarket dispute resolution system for structural conflicts of interest and potential violations of securities and commodities laws.
3) Investigate whether the concentration of UMA voting power in a small number of wallets constitutes a violation of anti-manipulation rules.
4) Take action to ensure that the $400 million tied to this market is distributed to the traders who followed the rules and bet on “NO” the outcome that the contract’s own terms dictate. The rules were clear. The facts were clear. The only thing that was not clear was the integrity of the system that was supposed to enforce those rules.
Sincerely.

🚨VOTE CLOSED: UMA voted 90% YES on the Iran peace deal. But for the first time, the market has NOT been resolved on Polymarket itself.
The UMA vote concluded with an overwhelming majority backing “Yes.” Yet the $480M contract remains frozen. The market page shows a “Yes” outcome, but the payout hasn't been executed.
What’s happening?Polymarket is under intense pressure. The platform has never delayed a resolution after a UMA vote like this before. @Polymarket support is stalling likely due to the massive backlash and the legal exposure they now face.
The facts:
Trump himself called it an “interim accord” and a “memorandum of understanding” not permanent peace.
9 wallets control half of all UMA voting power on Polymarket disputes.
At least 60% of active UMA voters can be linked to live Polymarket accounts.
Roughly 1 in 5 disputes had at least one UMA voter with a direct financial stake in the contract they were ruling on.
Class action lawsuits are being prepared. This is bigger than one market this is about whether a handful of anonymous whales can override clear contract terms and steal $480 million from thousands of traders.
The world is watching. @Polymarket support cannot ignore this forever.

🚨Coming soon is a long post with a call to action, in which I will once again address the media and the judiciary. It will be filled with a lot of detail and wording. Stay tuned in two hours. We must put an end to this.
#Polymarket#WhaleManipulation#UMA
Hello, world! I and thousands of other market holders are asking you to intervene in the unbiased, fraudulent dispute surrounding the "US x Iran Permanent Peace Deal by June 15" market on #POLYMARKET. Currently, #UMA (whales) is voting against clear market rules. (https://t.co/ssvRjbmKRS)
This is a real financial crime. Its a pyramid scheme. We need to investigate. Polymarket has crossed the line. Polymarket has long been known as a risky and dishonest exchange, but such sums have never been reached. @Polymarket support is ignoring all requests. This is a real #RUGPULL
$360 MILLION ON THE LINE 🚩
Today, I stand before you not as a trader, not as a gambler, but as a witness to a fundamental betrayal of trust. But what is happening now is not a market. It is a manipulation and corruption. A small group of UMA token holders - just a handful of anonymous whales - are preparing to override the clear, unambiguous rules of this market. They are about to decide the fate of $360 million based not on truth, but on their own financial interest.
To the Regulators of the United States:
I am calling on the @dojphofficial, the @SECGov, the @CFTC to investigate what is unfolding on @Polymarket. This is not a decentralized utopia. This is a rigged game. A handful of anonymous voters hold the power to steal $360 million from thousands of traders who played by the rules. If this is allowed to stand, it sets a precedent that no market is safe, and that the rule of law can be bought and sold by a few whales.
To the World:
This is bigger than one market. This is about whether we allow a private, unregulated platform to hold the power of a court, without any oversight, without any accountability. We must demand that the DOJ and the SEC step in before it is too late.
To the @Polymarket Administration:
You have a choice. You can stand with the truth, or you can stand with the whales. Release a binding clarification that the June 15 announcement does NOT meet the market's criteria for a "permanent peace deal." Stop the UMA vote. Do the right thing before history judges you.
This is not a game. The world is watching. We will not be silent. We will not be robbed.
@Bloomberg is now covering this dispute (https://t.co/fIovgLmL5D). This is no longer just a Polymarket comment thread — the entire financial world is watching. A wrong resolution here doesn't just damage Polymarket, it calls into question the legitimacy of every DeFi prediction market that relies on UMA. 9 anonymous wallets deciding $360M under global media scrutiny is the worst possible look for this industry.
This is our moment. Share this. Tag everyone. Let's make them listen. I ask everyone to repost this and make sure we are heard and seen.
P.S. I will soon publish a detailed, step-by-step analysis of why this market MUST decide "NO" - based on official market rules, real news, and legal definitions.
This will include:
1) The exact wording of the market criteria.
2) Why the June 15 announcement does NOT meet the requirements.
3) How the UMA voting system is being abused.
Watch this space. The truth will be told. Justice will not be silent...

@shayne_coplan Regarding the permanent peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran, this market is being manipulated by whales. It’s a trashy platform—it’s not fair at all. https://t.co/YDTCVHkBpU
https://t.co/ChG3kUBe4z
Its a 100% "NO" so why still on yes resolution? If they sign it later today electronically, then they didnt sign it the first time.
Trump also says today it’s “okay” if Iran doesn’t sign the memorandum of understanding with the US.
