By imposing restrictions on open-source AI, SB1047 hurts AI safety, reducing:
- Collaboration, which allows a wider range of experts to identify and address potential safety concerns
- Resilience; concentrating control creates single points of failure & increases systemic risk
@MikeCodesDotNET Will start with Rider and making it build - as is. I have a feeling it will be a lot of working, whichever platform I end up choosing. It's quite stock at the moment, but it's only after starting a rewrite you remember how much stock there was...
Does Avalonia compile to native?
@MikeCodesDotNET I like VSCode for most dev stuff, recently found the Vim plugin... From what I hear no one is offering a great migration experience... I still have to make a first test app in VSCode MAUI to see what I'm up against for doing any real stuff...
@MichielSioen@MikeCodesDotNET Me neither, until it saved me a lot of time building the @seeme_ai apps... At the moment no real outlook on what a possible migration path could look like...
@MichielSioen@MikeCodesDotNET Any takes on MAUI, Uno, Avalonia… coming from stock Forms and hoping to migrate with minimal effort. Or is longevity a better metric?
@k_sasha@UnoPlatform Is there an automated/straightforward migration from a quite stock Xamarin.Forms app (iOS/Android). Might be some custom written ML services and libraries though :D
