Hubby | Dad | Christian | Finding Home Series = Coming-of-age series inspired by my life finding freedom, God, and healing faith after an abusive childhood.
Been looking for a book with a unique setting, a strong voice, and that will jab rusty scissors into your heart intermittently, but by the last page will have sanitized those wounds and put it all back together?
You could read about Josh's nearly impossible effort to free himself from the cult he's been born and raised in:

Blue is married women. Yellow is unmarried women. One is double the other.
That pattern has held every year this has been tracked.
If you want more babies, you want more marriage.
My wife and I are "we didn't monetize the fact that we were doing sustainable gardening, backyard chickens, and having six kids (three homebirths), all on a paltry salary by being super frugal and working together in love and hope" years old.
"Incapable of living a full life"
..
By what metric? By whose metric?? What do you mean by full life?
All children are a hard, challenging, blessed burden. Some more than others. Should we have killed our harder to raise children?
I know a few women who grew up with siblings with down syndrome, and they all put up with some abuse from their partners bc they grew up subordinating their needs to help take care of their sibling
This isn’t every case but I think that it applies to the vast majority, and if my options are to: 1) cleanly abort a severely handicapped kid that is incapable of living a full life, 2) have it but know that its siblings are going to be carrying part of the burden, or 3) have it, never have another kid to carry the burden, save money and pray that it isn’t abused after I die then #1 is clearly the best option
If you're wondering what I'm referring to, it's the horrific story about the YouTuber family that's putting their entire life online and who just opted to abort their baby due to possible Downs Syndrome.
The hearts of men wax colder and colder. Social media is a great place to watch this happen.
Life is precious and a gift from God. Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. Justice will be His.
In the meantime, I'm disturbed by what I've seen on here today.

No, Marty. Creativity cannot be accomplished in any way by AI.
AI can do some menial assistive tasks for us, but creation is all human.
I'm not angry, just disappointed.
Martin Scorsese is now a partner and advisor for a generative AI startup
He says he's using AI during preproduction to help storyboard projects
“I’m interested in the intersection of technology and storytelling, and seeing how that can push the bounds of creativity to create deeper and richer experiences for audiences ... cinema is a young medium ... we have to be open to how it can evolve"

Yep. You don't spoil kids by giving them too many things, you spoil them by replacing what you should be giving them (your time, attention, and guidance) with buying them things
@theBasedBarbie I have two sons who fit this bill, unless by conservative you mean a card-carrying member of a certain party. They're conservative based on eternal principles.
One studies at BYU, one at UVU.
