@AllOfItWNYC in the intro, the host says the musical guest does a "cover" of an Irving Berlin song. You don't "cover" jazz standards. Would you say "Frank Sinatra's cover of Blue Skies"? It simply his version of the standard, not a cover.
@castrovince just read the whole article on behind the scenes of the pitch clock, and didn’t get the answer to the one question I was curious about. How are the umpires keeping track of all the various countdowns?? Are there clocks in their line of vision? Do the FTCs tell them?
@castrovince and is it buzzing after 30 seconds between batters as well? and what about after foul balls (thinking of what the umpire was going on when he said Alonso took too long). thank you.
@NPRDebElliott the phrase “Louis Armstrong song St James Infirmary” is misleading at best. He did not write that song. I believe you meant “made famous by Louis Armstrong.”
@BrianLehrer there’s a product called the Kitchen Safe that allows you to physically lock your phone away for a set length of time. Of course, you still have to have the will power to use it.
@NYCMayor why can’t the @nypd catch the subway shooter in the 1/28 N train shooting? They are only able to apprehend subway shooters who turn themselves in?
@mikeives still no update from the NYPD about the N train shooting on 1/28. The suspects in the 2 shootings in the Spring of ‘22 were only apprehended after they turned themselves in. Is that the only way the NYPD catches subway shooters? And why can’t they find another image?
@ShoreNewsNJ Hello, can you please explain where you got the images of the male suspect in this article from last week? No other news source, including the NYPD has released these same images. https://t.co/brWZ5iOEju
@MarkLevineNYC How is it possible that the @MTA is debuting these trains that you can through from@one end to the other, yet standing by their policy on the old trains of keeping the doors between cats locked for “safety” reasons when there is a gunman in one car? Clearly it’s hypocritical.
