@awireman Hot take: The first 2 days make the tournament great. The rest is hit or miss.
I'll watch as much of the first round as possible, but I'll only watch a handful of the rest of the games.
Then stop being the one who pays them?
The schools are the ones writing the checks. This is like your boss complaining about what he pays you. If I went to my boss tomorrow and said I was going to leave unless I got a 20K raise, they're going to let me walk.
One high-major head coach to me:
“This has become a joke. We got guys who averaged 3 points a game asking for a million dollars. It’s completely out of control.”
I might get some heat for this, but I have said it for months: This team isn't likeable. Top to bottom they are difficult for me to like. I want them to win, but at the end of the day I don't care if they lose. I won't be sad when they lose today, it'll be a relief.
I like Josh Allen and I think he's a good QB.
But 4 turnovers (not all his fault) and that over throw at the end of regulation should hang over him until he gets over that hump.
I've always said that he is so good and frequently so bad. Today is the prime example.
