Today, I flagged off the construction of the 2.38km Flyover Bridge along the Oyemekun–Oba Adesida Road corridor in Akure.

This project is not just about concrete and steel. It is about the people.

It is about the trader who spends valuable hours in traffic trying to move goods. It is about the student rushing to school, the worker heading home after a long day, the patient needing to get to the hospital quickly, and every resident who simply wants to move around our capital city with ease.

Akure is growing, and our infrastructure must grow with it.

The new flyover, stretching from Adegbola Junction through Ojaoba and Omieja to St. Mathias/NNPC Filling Station, Alagbaka, is designed to ease congestion, improve safety and make movement easier along one of the busiest corridors in our capital.

More importantly, it is an investment in the future of Akure. A city with better roads and easier movement creates more room for businesses to thrive, investments to come in and opportunities to grow for our people.

I am deeply encouraged by the support and goodwill of our traditional rulers, residents, traders, transporters and other stakeholders. Together, we will ensure that temporary inconveniences during construction give way to lasting benefits for generations to come.

We are not just building a flyover.

We are building a more connected, modern and economically vibrant Akure.

And we will continue to invest in projects that make life better for our people across Ondo State.

A car belonging to one @RbrnJerry was stolen but later recovered by the police, the owner identified the car after the recovery and was requested to pay a particular sum of money which he paid.

Only at the time which he was supposed to take possession of the car, he was informed that the car had been sold by some police men right in the police station.

This matter deserves the attention it needs, we must not keep quiet at the face of this injustice.

Remember, today may be Mr. Oguji Jeremiah Onyebuchi, tomorrow it may be you or me.

Let's help a brother to get justice, this must not be allowed.

The one observation from today that baffled me more than everything else… for the whole of preseason we played with Mbeumo as the 9. Cunha played 20 minutes against Milan & looked unfit. Today he shifts Mbeumo back out to the right & plays Cunha as the 9. Doesn’t make sense.
