Today, on my way out I was stopped by men of the NPF on a routine stop and search. When one of the officers wanted to put his hand into my pocket, I asked what he was looking for immediately he became furious and even threatened to arrest me and detain me till the next day and nothing will happen.

In response, I told him I have been arrested and slept in a police cell for atleast 735 times from 2009 till date, so I'm not scared of that. I also immediately pointed the officer to copies of petitions against the police for misconducts and extortion in my car's trunk and also informed him I would petition him to his superiors and use every legal arsenal at my disposal to make sure he is dealt with if he doesn't conduct himself professionally.

While, I have deep sense of respect for constituted authorities, the police has more often than not abuse the concept of stop and search provided for in the Police Act. The power of stop and search confered on men of the NPF by the Police Act does not evisage a system which allows for stop and search without probable cause.

The act of stopping motorists and pedestrians randomly and thrusting hands into people's pockets even without communicating the reason for such search is a clear contravention of the fundamental rights of Nigerians provided for and guaranteed under chapter four of the constitution and an abuse of Police powers.

This act does not only expose the illiteracy of these men but also raises questions as to the process through which these men are recruited into the Police Force.

I am therefore, calling on the Nigeria Police Force, mostly importantly, the Delta state command to call these men to order and also educate them on the limits of their powers.

This calls for concern. To the best of my knowledge both the North and the South are governed by the constitution. Also, both the penal code and the criminal code which are the principal crimal law covering the North and the South respectively do not have any provision which allows for child marriage. No sane person would want to share the same country with these people, this is evil. You don't even need to answer me yes, with the responses so far I already know the practices in that part of the country. The magnitude of evil that's been perpetuated because of Islam is alarming. On a good day the whole world will come together and find a lasting solution to the menace called "Islam".

This guy got a girl pregnant, and after she gave birth to their first child, the baby was diagnosed with SS.

Instead of both of them going for a genotype test to know whether they were compatible, they went ahead and had a second child. Sadly, the second child was also born with SS.

That was when they finally decided to do a genotype test—and discovered that both of them are AS.

Now the guy wants to call off the marriage, but the lady is insisting that they should get married because they have already had two children together.

This is why genotype testing should never be ignored, especially when you are considering marriage. Love is important, but some decisions require more than love.

Know your genotype. Know your partner's genotype. Have the difficult conversations early, before emotions, pregnancy and family expectations make the decision much harder.
