Happy Day!
More excited than I expected about reaching 100 citations in Google Scholar! Immensely grateful to my amazing co-authors who made it possible to reach this (mini) milestone!
@arthur_spirling That seems to be a way forward, but it will require some investment from the journals and departments beyond setting standards. Also important to remain mindful about how this increases costs, which some can more readily bear.
@arthur_spirling Thanks! This looks great and sensible. Not sure how hopeful I am given the slow progress in adopting replication standards overall and how appreciated replication efforts are.
The profile photos are in, my name is on an office door, guess it's happening: I have started my PhD at the Department of Political Science @goteborgsuni
Wish me luck!

Are you an International Relations scholar?
Have you used EuGene or NewGene to create datasets?
Guess what? A new version of the platform -- one FULLY web-based -- will be launched soon in partnership w/ @correlatesofwar.
Be on the lookout for COWPlus Online in mid-August!
Our first meta paper is out!! This paper combines our first 110 completed reproductions/replications. This is joint work with 350+ amazing coauthors.
We summarize our findings below.

Do you use conflict event data in your research as a scholar; in forecasting as a government analyst? I am delighted to share a new paper (w/ @PrincetonSPIA PhD student @HannahKazis, @ucmerced postgraduate @Claudia_Loomis_, and an outstanding team of @PolViol_Lab co-authors). 1/9
Conflict scholars! Over the last 4 years, 22 coders have spent over 150 coder-months to gather information for the UCDP Conflict Issues Dataset. Please give them a tribute by using the data that we (@raffeman@johanbrosche) present in this article.
