@VictorKay97 Thanks, I already asked them for the details.
I also tested iOS 18, 26, and 27 on iPhone and iPad, including fresh installs. Still can't reproduce it.
Used to get a crash log with this kind of rejection. This time Apple sent nothing.
Apple rejected my app for "crashed on launch."
Can't reproduce it on a real device or TestFlight. No crash log attached.
Starting to wonder if this is just another automated review false positive. Has anyone else hit this?
Claude’s subscriptions product lead just came out and apologized for the usage limits
Max 20x is now Ultra, the 5-hour cap is getting removed for verified accounts, and weekly is still only 10× Pro🤡
I lead product for Claude subscriptions. Today we're renaming our Max plans, and I want to explain why.
When we launched our top plan in April 2025, it had a single limit: 5 hours. It gave you 20x Pro's limit, so we called it Max 20x. When we added weekly limits to Max 20x, we set them to 10x Pro's (the 5-hour limit stayed at 20x).
I get that some new users assumed 20x applied to both limits. We could have done better here, and I'm sorry.
The Ultra plan keeps the weekly limit (10x Pro), but we're removing the 5-hour limit so you can keep building without getting blocked mid-session. This starts today and rolls out in stages. To help prevent fraud and abuse, a temporary limit applies until we've verified your account. You'll get an email when your limit is removed.
We've got more cooking and can't wait to share it. Thanks for building with Claude 🙏

Building an app is pretty easy and fast now. Maintaining it is what really takes time.
Shipping an app means taking responsibility for its users, even if there are only a few.
Better to keep improving existing apps than rush out new ones.
@btud01 They were just LeetCode questions, so using AI felt like it would defeat the purpose. I was trying to make the test meaningful.
Yeah, I overthought it
I got laid off in Germany back in August and have been looking for a new job since.
I’ve been an iOS developer for 12 years. I used to be really good at writing clean code from scratch, but honestly, I haven’t done much of that lately thanks to AI.
A few days ago, I had a 90-minute take-home test: two algorithm problems and one iOS task.
I solved two, but made too many small mistakes and ran out of time for the third. Scored 62 and got rejected.
Cheating would’ve been incredibly easy. But I chose to be honest, hoping they’d value that more than just a perfect score.
Maybe I was naive.
I think more and more companies will eventually care about how quickly you can deliver high-quality code, no matter what tools you use.
Memorizing algorithms and technical concepts feels less valuable than ever. And I believe one day, companies still hiring developers this way will look just as outdated.
