It’s very serious issue that Department of History @OfficialPU has allegedly discarded Sikh History & History of Panjab from its new Slybuss based on NEP 2020. This is very serious issue , regional history & specifically Sikh history can’t be deleted. Roll Back Immediately!
DGP police in Indian-occupied Punjab were caught sending WhatsApp messages to police officers, directing them to carry out increased extrajudicial killings of Sikh youth. The National Human Rights Commission has issued multiple directives, but neither the state nor the Delhi Govt has responded to any of them.

Fair point. Let’s forget the assumptions, speculation and any information that may have been circulating, and simply deal with the facts that are actually in front of us the images, the circumstances, and, most importantly, the information you yourself provided.
Nobody is arguing that someone cannot walk into a Gurdwara Sahib to pray. That isn’t the issue, and quoting the Rehat Maryada to establish that is rather beside the point. Of course a Gurdwara is open to everyone.
The question is what actually happened beyond simply walking in to pray.
So let’s take this step by step.
He apparently walked in, unannounced, with his entourage. Fine. Nobody is disputing his right to enter and pay his respects.
But did he arrive as an ordinary individual, quietly seeking darshan, and leave? The circumstances presented suggest otherwise.
The timing is interesting. The management just happened to be present, dressed formally, and apparently ready to engage. The visit just happened to coincide with that. I’m even prepared to accept that as a coincidence.
But then we have a problem.
Your own description of the visit was about the significance of Bhagwat outreach and discussions concerning Sikh issues. That is considerably more than someone simply walking into an open Gurdwara to pray.
So which is it?
Was this genuinely an unplanned individual visit for darshan, in which case the subsequent engagement with management was one enormous coincidence?
Or was there an organised interaction and discussion, in which case quoting the Rehat Maryada about a person’s right to enter a Gurdwara is completely irrelevant to the criticism being made?
Because you can’t have both narratives simultaneously.
And let’s be honest about the optics. A man arrives with his entourage, management happens to be suited up and available, they conveniently engage in discussions on Sikh issues, and somehow we are supposed to believe this was simply an ordinary person who wandered in for darshan and, entirely by chance, ended up having exactly the sort of engagement you yourself described?
Come on.
And if the argument is that this was merely outreach, then the obvious question remains, outreach for what purpose, and on whose behalf?
I’m not interested in inventing motives. I’m interested in asking very reasonable questions about what actually happened. The images and your own statements provide more than enough basis for those questions.
So yes, fair point let’s throw away every assumption and every piece of alleged misinformation.
Let’s stick exclusively to the facts you have presented and then the article, the protest I mean there is a lot of coincidence happening here. I’m sure management had meeting minutes after the discussion which sangat has the right to see.
And just to be clear, I wasn’t being rude. I was asking questions and explaining why people are upset and disappointed. If straightforward questions about the circumstances have rubbed you the wrong way, perhaps the more useful question isn’t why I asked them, but why they were so uncomfortable to answer.
I have said it before many times this clown is no friends of Sikhs, he celebrates the Indian flag calling it his family heritage, now he is boasting about being privileged? What is so special about a racist thug that you are so privileged Vikramjeet. Also give me a break a one is welcome to Gurudawara sahib if they come as a devote but this is not that this is clearly VIP culture. Don’t twist Sikhi to suit your narrative Absolutely disgusted by the Gurudawara Management.
#1 The oldest Gurdwara in Europe has just handed the RSS the photograph it could never have bought.
Mohan Bhagwat walked into Khalsa Jatha British Isles, Holland Park. Established 1908.
The Sangat was not asked.
A thread on who authorised this. 🧵
Sikhs strongly condemn secret visit of head of RSS to Gurdwara in London
No apology or explanation from those responsible for running the Gurdwara, including the Trustees can undo the damage caused by welcoming the head of the RSS to a small, private gathering without the presence of the Sangat. Such a decision represents a serious breach of trust and a profound failure of stewardship.
Gurdwaras are meant to serve the Sikh community openly and transparently; using that sacred space for a secretive and politically charged meeting is unacceptable and has deeply offended many Sikhs. The visit confirms those that have a friendly relationship with the Indian High Commission have undue influence on those running the Khalsa Jatha British Isles Gurdwara.

Canadian Charities Are Funding RSS Operations
Just Peace Advocates has filed a complaint with the Canada Revenue Agency asking it to examine the charitable status of 21 registered Canadian charities, including the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh Canada, Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of Canada, Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Ontario and Sewa Canada International Aid Inc., over their ties to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist organization. The complaint, using data from Sciences Po’s Center for International Research (CERI), identifies approximately $46 million moving between RSS-affiliated organizations in Canada, and a further $21.5 million sent from those organizations to RSS-linked groups abroad.

@JohnKiriakou has put his finger on India’s oldest wound: caste. Sikhs challenged the Brahminical varna order 550 years ago; We have paid in blood, including genocide; for refusing to bow. We are AntiFragile. We will bring this pyramid of evil down, stone by stone.
Of course you're defending the RSS.
Your org is financed and resourced by the Indian paramilitary extremist org that is inspired by Hitler.
Why should anyone trust Hindu American Foundation when it's so clearly a proxy for the RSS?

Albertans are also right about that government job is to regulate, be proactive not reactive cleaning up mess like out of use oil wells case and protect Alberta resources, rights and environment, not be spokesperson for corporates. @ABDanielleSmith
Albertans are right about data centres. They should bring their own power. They should use innovative cooling technology that limits water use. They don’t belong too close to homes.
That is exactly the standard we have been applying. Projects that meet it get approved. Projects that don’t get turned down.
Last night I held a data centre town hall with Ministers Nate Glubish @nateglubish, Justin Wright @real_jtwright and Dan Williams @DanWilliamsAB to hear directly from thousands of Albertans and we will keep listening to you so that we make our approvals system even stronger.
“In 1939, Madison Square Garden hosted a rally of American Nazis and now, 2026, on August 29, Madison Square Garden is once again throwing open the doors to host a rally of India’s Nazis, the RSS.”
My protest against RSS’s Mohan Bhagwat covered in Al Jazeera.
Governor @GovKathyHochul, this is happening in your state. Break your silence.
The Indian Hindu paramilitary organization RSS's leader takes the stage at MSG. Mohan Bhagwat leads an organization India banned thrice. Human Rights Watch holds it responsible for violence against Muslims, marginalized castes and Christians. USCIRF wants it sanctioned.
“We urge the U.S. government to consider targeted sanctions against RSS members and Indian officials complicit in religious freedom violations, including revoking the visa issued to Mohan Bhagwat and making him ineligible for future entry into the United States.”

If this were a Mosque or a Synagogue, I can guarantee you this statement would have included the term Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism in its wording.
Instead, for Sikhs dealing with a sharp rise in Anti-Sikh hate, we get this generic message.
Yes, no one should feel unsafe in their place of worship. Thank you, PM Carney, for the heartfelt message.
Anti-Sikh hate is growing. It's fueled by White Supremacists in Canada & Hindu Nationalist ecosystems originating from India.
The result is not just online hate speech & disinfo but real-life violence. The WSO has been trying to raise awareness, including through its recent CRRF-funded report on Anti-Sikh hate in Canada.
It is time our politicians and authorities treat this with the level of concern and urgency it deserves. Sikhs cannot fight this hate alone.
