Had the immense honour of speaking to @JesseBrown on @CANADALAND about Modi, the role that the Sikh/Punjabi diaspora is playing in India's #FarmersProtest, and how @BaazNewsOrg is covering it.
I also call out @akshaykumar, because why not.

This remarkable painting is by Ajunath Sindhu Vinalay, a 9th Std boy in Thrissur, Kerala. Tired of hearing that his mother doesn't work, he painted her doing her various chores. His impressed teacher sent it to the Govt &It’s now the cover for the State’s 2020/21 gender document.

Many Bramptonians come from farming families in India & it's been stressful for them to see reaction to the peaceful #FarmersProtests. The recent images from Delhi have been heart breaking.
I hope for a peaceful resolution as farmers continue to exercise their democratic rights.
