The Word says the devil STRATEGIZES y’all, that means he actively watches/listens/plans to attack and pick at our insecurities and doubts! Don’t let the devil STEAL your peace of mind. STAND FIRM in the peace and love that comes from our Lord. Stand firm and know, you are worthy!
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Samantha Garza. In honor of Sam's life, we invite you to donate in her memory to fund brain tumor research. Thank you to everyone who supported Sam throughout her battle. We love you forever, Sam.

This doesn’t mean you can’t be grateful and appreciative of what your parents did for you. It also doesn’t mean that your adult children aren’t grateful for that. But, that’s likely not enough to sustain real closeness long term.
Once an adult child no longer relies on you to provide physical things (food, shelter, etc. that is required by law), there has to be something else there to keep the relationship going.
I hear a lot of things like, “but I provided for you,” and “you never wanted for anything.” But here’s the thing, if you want emotional closeness, you have to build emotional closeness.
