Spurs in a slightly different situation given they need quality in the squad, so more likely to overpay to get that.

United have other options, all about effective allocation of resources.

Quite concerning that Vušković and now Bergvall are open to leaving Spurs. Part of the excitement around their Prem proven signings so far was the prospect of adding that to the youth they have.

Real market opportunity now for Villa, United, and Liverpool to name a few.

Do they need a LW? Absolutely. But there are more than capable options in the squad right now. Summer 2027 target a marquee LW signing.

Lewis Hall would be a major boost to the team. More of an impact now and long term than Summerville, who is a great player in his own right.

Locks down the LB position for the next 10 years between him and Amass (assuming the latter stays and is healthy).

Cunha has looked great as a 9/10 for Brazil in the early games, but United have a plethora of attacking depth, which is bolstered by Rashford if he does return.

Imo a LW should be more of a market opportunity signing this summer, given the glaring NEEDS across the squad.
