@MichaelKill17@JoeCStrib As a varsity softball coach, I would disagree. I agree that chanting is more common in softball, but not as a coordinated means to mess with the opponent. I don’t get to a lot of HS baseball, but I’ve been at a few and was shocked by the terrible sportsmanship by a few teams.
@MinnesotaMillea I like the tournaments, but hate forcing kids to play/practice on the 24th and/or the 26th. Maybe a 4-5 day no contact period that moves from year to year based on the date of Christmas. Could have been the 24-28 this year and teams could still have their tourneys the next week.
@jwalter09 Or being the head coach and having to drag and chalk your own field during your teaching prep because the school can’t figure out a way to get it done. I know school budgets can be tough, but there are so many ways that spring sports get shorted.
An absolutely great coach and person. Honored to have been part of inducting Skip into the Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame last June!
Saddened to learn that Gary Hindt, Hallof Fame wrestling coach in Wabasso and one of the world's great gentlemen, died today after battling cancer. I was very fortunate to spend time with Gary over the years, including the attached story from 2017 ...

@SwamMurphy21 Interesting vote, but Willmar’s schedule was brutal. Losses to Marshall, Chisago Lakes (receiving votes) and the teams ranked #1, #3, #7, and #10 in this weeks poll. Also just beat Totino that was #11 this week. May have come down to the scores for both teams vs. Marshall.
@StPaulSaints@austin_martin99 If the @StPaulSaints hit back-to-back homers but no one is there to see it because the feels like is 117 degrees in Omaha, did it still happen?
@MSMABA79 Hey all, the Becker Buzzards just lost a doubleheader on Sunday. Anyone looking for a game or two? We have a field and an ump ready on Sunday.
@jialtermatt Don’t disagree, but the flip side would be that he didn’t really have a def. pos., has little power, and iffy knees. I’d love to see him have success in Miami while Pablo Lopez is starting playoff games and the minor league SS ends up being Correa’s replacement at SS in 5 yrs.
