@jimfrogge1 @NYCNavid @realDonaldTrump We already subsidize farmers to a large extent across America. It is an industry where in national security interest you probably dont want to rely on all imports but at some point we are going to have to decide if we want to continue subsiding farming, even without tariffs.
Fiat loses 2-3% of its value each year due to currency debasement. If instead, 2-3% was simply debited from your bank account each year, would you better recognize the scam?
@elonmusk There needs to be more charging stations around rural USA. I live in an apartment complex in a small city in North Carolina. No chance I can charge at home, since I park in a parking lot...and almost no public charging stations.
@elonmusk@VitalikButerin So if you have a fully automated plant that runs off Ethereum tech then all colonists could be guaranteed delivery of vital items. No third party or gov needed to make sure this happens
@elonmusk@VitalikButerin Blockchain is all about not needing a third party for verification/validation. I think for you @elonmusk perhaps looking into it related to Mars colony would be really cool. I always thought about if I went to Mars how would I be sure delivery of vital goods if large gov change.
@AndrewYang Selling universal healthcare and public transport to Americans could be done through the lens of reducing stress, and then even a lot of Republican voters would buy in. Americans are selfish and selling these ideas as being "good for less fortunate" doesn't work.
@AndrewYang Totally agree with this. I have been thinking a lot lately that what we need to do is setup the government in a way that reduces everyday stress. It's crazy in America, I lived in Australia for 4 years and it's so much better there in terms of everyday stresses.
