My prediction for Iran:

Soon, within 1-2 weeks, Trump announces US has met mil goals & steps back from offensive ops. Achieved: defang IRGC, no nukes/ICBMs, degraded ballistic/drone mfg. upside scenario: *extracts refined fordow uranium*. Regime change not essential US goal.

US focuses on defending US/Gulf assets, threatens to destroy Kargh Island if attacked.

Iran reopens Hormuz under China/intl pressure (for non-us/israel ships but that’s effectively unenforceable)

Israel may CONTINUE aerial/SF ops.

Aftermath: w/o regime change Iran rebuilds. But given how far they have been set back, they won’t be able to project serious danger for quite
awhile. The next round will be won or deterred by he who can mass-produce more drones.

Clever point.

A few things should be said though:

* most properties have an assessed value much less than market
* assessments are infrequently marked to market
* propert tax is not based on the unrealized value of homes, it’s based on assessed value.
* property tax is not a tax on profit made from a sale transaction. That tax is deferred till sale.
* property taxes pay for local services. Who else should pay for local schools, police, roads etc if not the community that benefits from them?
* billionaires aren’t the only ones who own stock. Most middle class Americans have a retirement account
