@MattRKay You can build community rigorously. You can be rigorously human. Love rigorously. The intellect doesn't get to corner rigour. π (also, spelling in rigorous Canadian)
We gave people all they needed to live in their own little worlds (physicl and digital) and now it's no wonder they are not motivated by the public good.

@elonmusk It's not about individuals -- heroes or villains. It's about acknowledging systems of oppression and their lasting effects, and doing better. Simple question of honour and honesty.

@tedcruz The Left may hate some parts of America's past and present, but wants to build a better future with compassion and creativity.
The Right glorifies some of the worst parts of America, and wants to bring it back into the past. They are afraid of change and evolution.
The magic meat machine that breathes invisible, odorless air and drinks transparent crystal water... It's honesty more than would be believable in most Fantasy and Myth lol.

@tuesday7595@valdombre Please read before inflaming false ideas. Nothing is changing. It just means you don't have to study advanced Calculus in University to teach elementary Math.
@valdombre This is a mischaracterisation. All teachers will still learn how to TEACH Math in their Education degrees. But elementary teachers don't need to have studied Math in their undergraduate degrees. You don't need advanced Calculus and Statistics to teach Grade 4 Math.
A difficult read, but this section below is what makes me want to redouble my efforts to encourage reading for pleasure. Reading does all this for me. And more.

That's really the only question for politics.
Why didn't we think of it sooner, folks? All it takes to improve our lives is:
- fewer pronouns
- fewer bike lanes
- fewer vaccines
Done. Amazing. Problem solved. π
