Except they were immediately taken in by their aunt… Ohh and her illegal parents were arrested for shoplifting. ICE also gave the illegal mother the option of taking her children with her back to Honduras, which she wants. But she choose no to because it meant she would have to stay in detention for a couple months while that process was worked out

So here we have the mainstream media stirring up outrage over illegals who broke into our county, had anchor babies, got deported and then didn’t want to wait a couple months to be with their kids

Why would a politician advocate for non-citizens over citizens?

Follow the incentives:

- Non-citizens (and the industries/organizations that benefit from them) provide cheap labor, new consumers, and expanded client bases for certain programs and NGOs.
- Advocacy creates dependent voting blocs over time and delivers campaign support, donor money, and media praise from the groups that profit.
- It signals virtue to the donor class and institutional networks that reward that signal.
- Actual citizens already “belong” to the system... their loyalty is assumed. New or temporary populations can be cultivated as future political capital.

In short: the politician is not optimizing for citizens. They are optimizing for power, money, and status inside the current incentive structure. When those incentives reward prioritizing non-citizens, that is what gets prioritized.

Why would any citizen vote for them?

Several reasons, none of them flattering to the system:

- Many voters never see the trade-off clearly. Media and institutions frame the issue as compassion versus bigotry, not as resource competition, wage pressure, and sovereignty.
- Some voters genuinely believe the policy is moral or economically net-positive and discount the costs.
- Others vote purely on party, tribe, or single issues and ignore the rest.
- A portion benefit directly or indirectly (cheap services, housing demand, institutional funding) and vote accordingly.
- Habit, low information, and the belief that “both sides are the same” keep the pattern alive.

The uncomfortable truth is that the system is designed so that a politician can serve non-citizen interests and still win enough citizen votes to stay in power. Until that incentive structure changes, the behavior continues.

This system is designed so it is working exactly as the incentives dictate.

It used to be that the Senate served at the will of the states.

Now they serve at the will of lobbyists.

The beautiful thing about a six-year term is that only one-third of the members face voters at any given time. Even then, only a handful need to act conservative long enough to survive their primary. Once the election is over, they go right back to business as usual.

This arrangement has been in place for more than a hundred years.

It is the main reason the Senate is the branch of government that most consistently ignores the people who sent them there.

They are insulated by design. Long terms. Staggered elections. Heavy campaign money from the same interests they are supposed to regulate. The structure protects them from real accountability.

That is not an accident. That is the system working exactly as it has been allowed to work.

Her words were vile. Condemn them. Publish the video. Let the public judge her. But once criminal liability depends on whether someone might react violently, the Constitution no longer protects speech. It protects only speech delivered to calm, agreeable audiences.

That is not a minor loophole. It is a loaded weapon.

Today, the taboo word is a racial slur. Tomorrow, it is “terrorist sympathizer,” “baby killer,” “groomer,” “fascist,” “bigot,” or any political insult someone claims made violence likely.

The rule will never remain confined to people you despise. Government power does not come with a factory-installed ideological safety lock.

And look at the facts here: Sharmake Omar filmed Hendrix, pressed her to repeat the slur, stayed calm, and promised the internet would judge her. Yet the state somehow transformed that into “fighting words” ... a doctrine the Supreme Court has not used to uphold a conviction in roughly 80 years.

That is not protecting the peace. It is rewarding provocation and criminalizing the response.

Once the audience controls the boundaries of speech, activists will learn the obvious trick: act threatened, claim possible violence, and summon the state.

The First Amendment cannot survive as a permission slip issued by the most offended listener.

Because when outrage becomes a veto, free speech becomes whatever the mob allows.

The story most never heard or forgot...

In the early 1990s the House of Representatives ran its own bank and post office. Members of Congress could write checks with no money in their accounts. Hundreds of them did. Overdrafts. Thousands of them. Some for tens of thousands of dollars.

Don't ask how long this went on for... you do not want to know.

No interest charged. No real consequences. In fact, they were covering for each other regardless of party and the first hint of the uni-party was revealed to the public.

When the story finally broke, a few were embarrassed. Most were not. The bank was quietly closed. The names faded. The practice of treating public office like a private club continued.

That was not the biggest scandal in Congress. It was simply one of the few that made it into the papers.

The real scandal is how many never did.

And now you know.
