@shaylekann@dunne_insights@CatalystPod And/or premium products at premium prices ie. segment the market. "More Teslas" as you put it. Else the US needs to cede the market and also risk losses in adjacent markets. So what's the industry plan to do that? I'd love to hear your thoughts @dunne_insights, many thanks.
@shaylekann@dunne_insights@CatalystPod@dunne_insights It seems China is doing a great job at building high quality products at a low price. Competition at its finest, may the best win. Why is the US complaining? It seems like the US needs to get more competitive, period. As a country we seem to have dropped the ball.
@shaylekann@dunne_insights@CatalystPod And probably many other industries too from the colossal reputational damage. Which means it would be extremely unlikely China would do this. Game theory really. So net-net, for the US to win it must become more competitive and build higher quality products at lower cost.
@shaylekann@dunne_insights@CatalystPod Then the argument about cybersecurity seems pretty unrealistic. If China really were to "unleash chaos" as you put it, they could only do it once, as no one globally would ever buy a car from them again. They would destroy their industry completely.
@elonmusk Unfortunately, behavioral (and even reputational) controls for mis/disinformation can be defeated by creating a new account. So we need to pair them with account identity verification before enabling write access. Make Twitter like the real world - ie with accountability.
@Instacart did service in Canada just stop today? I’m in Kamloops and my account was auto logged out, and now my account is mostly blank - no order history, no Canadian address. And I can no longer add a Canadian address. Please advise! @CanadaInstacart @InstacartCanada
