@Uber_Support Driver almost caused a high speed crash, swerving off-road. Support admitted in writing he was speeding & swerving, but refused a refund, calling a near-death experience a trip that "didn't go as planned." Need human review ASAP or I'm filing a bank chargeback.
We need DOGE in Ireland. Over €114 Billion was allocated in 'public spending' by the State in 2024 YET Ireland has the LONGEST hospital waiting lists in Europe and the most OVERCROWDED classrooms. Ireland has the most EXPENSIVE diesel costs in Europe and has one of the most HIGHEST petrol prices. Consumers in Ireland pay 40% above the EU average for household goods. Ireland has the most EXPENSIVE net electricity prices in the EU. We have the HIGHEST ever recorded numbers of Irish homelessness, with more than 92,000 children classified as having an 'ongoing need' for housing, The State spent a staggering €1 billion on housing for immigrants in the first half of 2024. So where exactly did the €114 Billion allocated in so-called 'public spending' actually go?.
@Cristiona_Kiely@WaterfordCounci I agree but it doesn't seem to be a priority for other councilors. I was on the mayor's walk/Stephens st on Monday and I couldn't believe the state the footpaths were in. No wonder the council are paying out so much money for injuries. There's no excuse for their condition.

Limerick City and County Council failed to release to us, under FOI, the minutes for the meeting at which Niall Collins voted to dispose of council land.
After repeated phone calls, emails and finally a suggestion The Ditch boys attend their offices, the council had to relent.
@rfwalsh86@Michael_O_Regan Exactly, they're more concerned about something that's happening in another country which has nothing to do with us than reporting on a criminal act by a Minister of State.
Many people asking us about #bumblebees at the moment - why they’re seeing them on the ground - so here’s a quick thread to explain what they’re up to. Please #retweet as every #queen that survives means a new colony that gets to exist & produce new queen #bees for next year! 1/8
@FrankQuinlan1@WaterfordCounci Can any of the €4 million of active travel funds not spent in 2022 be used for this Frank?A lot of footpaths are badly in need of upgrading and this is exactly what the active travel fund is for theres no shortage of footpaths the money could be spent on, especially in that area
