In March 2016, Mark and Lindsey Lashley were at a hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia, waiting for the birth of their son, Cason.

As relatives exchanged updates through a group text, one message accidentally went to a number that no longer belonged to the family member they thought they were contacting.

It reached two brothers, Deorick and Dennis Williams.

At first, they simply replied to say someone had the wrong number. But the family kept sending updates, and soon the brothers received a photo announcing that Cason had been born, weighing 7 pounds 11 ounces.

Instead of ignoring the messages, they decided to do something completely unexpected.

They asked what hospital room the family was in and told them they were coming.

Deorick and Dennis arrived with diapers, baby bottles and pacifiers for a newborn they had never met, belonging to a family they had never known before that day.

For a moment, everyone in the room was stunned that the two strangers from the accidental text had actually shown up.

Then they welcomed them in.

They took photos together, met little Cason and became part of a birth story none of them had planned.

One wrong phone number had somehow brought two strangers to Room 130 with gifts in their hands, simply because they wanted to share in someone else's happiness.

A 13-year-old boy in Utah has just spent his ENTIRE SUMMER building a custom wheelchair for a 21-month-old baby girl he's never met.

His name is Zac Waters.

He watched a YouTube channel about 3D printing and decided he wanted to do something with it.

So he found MakeGood, a nonprofit that 3D prints assistive devices for people with disabilities, and got to work.

He spent over 300 HOURS, designing, printing, testing. and assembling.

...but he didn't just build a chair, he custom-designed it specifically for her

He custom printed pink accents, because pink is her favorite color.

He built her a removable cupholder and tray table. He designed a space in the back for heavier medical equipment.

He gave her soft, bendable straps so they don't dig into her, he even designed an adjustable footrest and headrest so it grows with her as she does.

When they asked him why he did it, he said it combines his two favorite things in life: 3D printing and helping people in need.

He's THIRTEEN YEARS OLD.
