@ChemistryKit He has a state park in Wisconsin named after him. The state has a very difficult time keeping the "Bong State Park" signs from being stolen.
@CranfordMATTER Having lived through polywater, cold fusion, buckyballs, and a whole slew of "publicity first, repoducibility second" announcements, I'm plenty tainted. Take care of the science and then publicity will take care of itself.
@pauldauenhauer Sorry, but the name brings up way too many bad memories from the U of M Hall named after him. That was 40 years ago, and the thoughts of the arrogant, cruel profs still scares and hurts.
@JohnNCoupland We have them all enrolled in a "class" on the LMS. (Blackboard, but whatever.) Then just post announcements. They're already on the LMS. They're not always on email, something that a few are quite proud of. But since I'm proud of not being on TikTok, I guess that makes us even
