With the recent influx of knights plundering $GOLD on the Island, the Dragons have taken notice of this pesky annoyance and have started to evolve to deal with this imminent threat.

Announcing Phase 2, Game of Gold: The Age of Dragons

In Phase 2, players can burn Knights to upgrade the power level of Dragons. There will be stages and different decisions that players have to make in their game progression. The rewards for success will be enticing! (detailed breakdown on mechanics and why we chose this path in another post to save space here).

We are also tweaking our game design and reward system to align more with @Blast_L2's vision for NFTs/GameFi. It was very important to us that Game of Gold is not a liquid proxy for Blast Points/Blast Gold and we are very excited about the new direction we are taking.

We are introducing $ETH TVL locks to increase project TVL (ie: Players can lock $ETH to "imbue" their Dragons to earn reward multipliers on top of their existing emissions. Players can unlock their $ETH anytime, but they will be heavily incentivized within our ecosystem to keep their $ETH staked with us).

With this change, we are moving from a simple GameFi project and starting our transition to a Gamified DeFi project that is going to be more aligned with the network's goals.

In addition, Phase 2 will introduce an "XP Leaderboard System" to track player reward and progression in game. Players will be able to track their XP progress through every action they take in our game (detailed breakdown in another post). The general idea is for every action to be weighted differently based on impact and commitment from the player.

100% of all Blast Points, Blast Gold, Gas Rebates will be redistributed back to our community through this XP System.

Got rugged by @maplefinance due to their flawed system. Early withdrawals got full amount + interest. Those who remained took an 80% hit. Even with their upgrade to V2, the flaw is still there. Do not use @maplefinance as the design is flawed.

8. Their returns are not that great too. It is lower than P2P but with added systematic risk. Investing in shitcoin is also better than providing funds in @maplefinance. At least you get a shot to the moon.

7. They claim they are decentralized. But you need to register with them to be able to borrow. The delegate then determines how much and who to loan.
