Doug Ford and the Conservatives have put forward a new Bill - "Working for Workers".
This Bill does NOT:
Repeal Bill 124 ❌
Guarantee paid sick days 💊
Fix our WSIB system 🦺
P.S. - a government that is working for workers doesn't attack their rights to collectively bargain.
Pierre Poilievre gets up in a government-funded home so that his government-funded driver can take him to his government-funded office so he can launch attacks against Canadian institutions. Canadians deserve better than a lifelong politician trying to divide them at every turn
“Alongside developing curiosity, it’s also about instilling a capacity to think for oneself. Deep down, I suspect the Ford government knows this to be true and is terrified of it.” One of the many quotes from @David_Moscrop!

@BankofCanadaBTC @TheAgenda @David_Moscrop Oh, there’s that tired, pathetic line, “those who can do, those who can’t teach.” Clearly you have no idea what goes on in a classroom today. I suggest you volunteer in one before you make comments disparaging what teachers do. No one is perfect but it’s wrong to generalize.
@BankofCanadaBTC @TheAgenda @David_Moscrop Sure let’s pay doctors based on their results too! People tend to forget teachers are highly educated and trained professionals with a minimum of two university degrees, often with a Masters who take 2 yr programs with extensive in class training before they even get their cert.
Poilievre called Trudeau a freeloader in the HoC yesterday. Isn’t that pretty rich coming from a guy who’s lived off the taxpayers dime for the past 20 years and accomplished nothing? He’s never had a job outside of politics. Every word out of a Cons mouth is a filthy confession.
Excellent article.
"If the government wishes to improve education, it can spend more on teachers and reduce class sizes. That’s a fine way to make space for learning that will pay all sorts of dividends to a free and democratic society." #onpoli https://t.co/LtSmmpCtRy
