I wish more developers understood the constant stream of malware that is posted to npm, PyPI, and all package managers...
Here's just a taste of some crazy malware Socket identified in the past couple weeks...
All malware descriptions were FULLY WRITTEN by Socket AI.
Gandhi said "Be the change you want to see".
All we need is just that one person in each team who can initiate a #talk_about_new_java.
If you are in a team, be that change.

IMO, the majority of the professional java devs around are open to learn new java but reluctant to 'talk' about the new #Java. And this creates an unseen gap between the product owner/manager & the devs. No one takes interest to 1/3
initiate casual discussions about the new #java. As a result, the legacy java code remains a legacy only. I have also seen that if one in a team initiates the 'talk' about new java, sooner or later the projects adapts the LTS if not latest. 2/3

I’m beyond thankful for all your #Java community contributions over the last 25+ years.
I’m more thankful for your friendship.
Enjoy your cake day!
Are you working at a large system integrator in Bangalore, India, using Spring and Spring Boot? I’m going to India next year, and I want to talk with you! Send me a DM, please? :)
