Contempt of Court Petition in Supreme Court
Uzma Khan has accused seven individuals, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Secretary Interior, IG Prisons Punjab, and Adiala Jail Superintendent, of deliberately violating the August 18 order.
According to the petition, the August 18 order from the three-member bench directed the transfer of Imran Khan to Shifa International within two days, the formation of a medical board on the advice of Shifa administration, inclusion of Dr. Faisal Sultan and Uzma Khan in the treatment and examination, and provision of full security, with instructions to comply "to the letter."
Khan's stance is that on the night of August 20, Imran Khan was taken to PIMS instead of Shifa, where a limited medical examination was conducted, while Dr. Faisal Sultan was allegedly brought to Shifa via a decoy convoy, detained until 4:30 a.m., and Imran Khan was transferred back to Adiala in the morning.
The petition rejects the government's security justification, stating that PTI had instructed its workers to stay away from the hospital, the decoy convoy reached Shifa without obstruction, and providing security was the government's own responsibility.
The petition asserts that the government's review petition did not suspend the August 18 order. Uzma Khan has sought contempt proceedings, show-cause notices to the parties, personal attendance, and immediate implementation of the court order. Reference has also been made to the Yousaf Raza Gilani case.
The government's stance in the review is that transfer to a private hospital is against Rule 197 of the Pakistan Prison Rules 1978 and could set a discriminatory precedent for other prisoners. The next hearing of the original case is scheduled for September 16.
Babar Azam "There is no comparison. If you talk about the 90s cricketers, they are very experienced. They have played more cricket. If they think we are making mistakes, then we must be. But sometimes, there are personal attacks. When that happens, a player thinks about answering back. You can say anything you want to when it comes to cricket. But players also have self-respect. When you don’t respect them, you also will get the same" #Cricket #PSL11
Let’s accept it now, Vance’s abrupt departure from the talks was a strategic mistake.
Iran came fully prepared, with a complete team and a clear intent to find a settlement.
Walking away didn’t create leverage, it destroyed momentum. Now the equation has shifted.
Iran knows Trump is under pressure to secure a deal, and that changes everything.
The next time they come to the table, it won’t be on the same terms. They will demand more and get more.
Walking away did not strengthen the U.S. position. It handed Iran time, clarity, and leverage.
India has more than a billion citizens & I’m sure most are decent & rational. But those who are visible on their TV & social media - those who scream, shout, abuse & obsess about Pakistan - they are a stain on their nation. They are petty, insecure & pathetic losers.
@murtazasolangi Iran and US haven’t met in 47 years and Pakistan made that happen.
Only a fool would think a war of this scale with all its history could be resolved in 24 hours.

Pakistan’s role has shifted from facilitator and go-between to direct mediator and peace negotiator (amid reports of 3-way talks taking place in Islamabad). For now at least, Pakistan’s in the driver’s seat in the difficult & delicate effort to guide the US & Iran to an off ramp.
With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!

Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.

Why has Pakistan remained front & center in a high stakes and high risk US-Iran peace facilitation effort?
Strong ties w/all key players, trust from the White House, ongoing direct engagements w/Iran, and buy in from Pak ally China (it has more leverage over Iran than does Pak).
If Epstein had been Pakistani, he would have sued his victims for defamation and our courts would have absolved him and made his victims pay him money. It's very easy to say "US is trying to cover the files." They at least got pressured into releasing them. We would have given Epstein a clean chit.
Ali Zafar won his civil DEFAMATION case against Meesha Shafi.
Not a harassment case. The harassment case against him is still pending. He has not been proven innocent. He has not been cleared of anything except winning a lawsuit about a few tweets.
So the final verdict from session court of Meesha Shafi vs Ali Zafar defamation case came out.I was not only a primary character witness, I knew both families and both children very closely. If I took a side, it was with 100% certainty and belief.
For me, Meesha Shafi’s issue ended the day every girl who supported her — including me — was dragged into criminal cases. I was told I could face three years in prison. And if that happens, I will go and serve those three years, because I do not step back from my truth — and anyone who knows me, knows this.
People were silenced, pressured, bought, and scared. The entire support system was broken. On top of that, we were accused of running a foreign agenda, of being paid huge amounts in dollars. I said it then, and I say it again — prove it in court. I am ready to open all my bank accounts, everything.
The truth is, every woman knows that at some point in her life, she has been physically harassed. Sometimes in a room full of people, someone touches you in a way you cannot even process, and you cannot even speak. We have all gone through this — as children, as young women, and even today.
So when a star of this magnitude, who needed no fame, who comes from a respected family, speaks up — is it for fame? Is it some personal enmity? What did she gain from this case? What did we gain except abuse, lies, and humiliation?
We did not step back because we knew that if we lost this case, then every woman who suffers this every day would lose with us. And from that day on, no woman in this country would ever be believed. The entire Lahore, the entire industry knows the truth.
This is not Meesha Shafi’s loss, or Saba Hameed’s, or Iffat Omar’s. And this five million penalty — we can pay it right now. It’s not about that.
It’s about the fact that women will continue to be touched inappropriately, even when married, even by men who are “friends” of their husbands. We all know this is the reality of a man’s world.
From today onwards, even I will not believe a woman in Pakistan — because surely, the man must be right.
And my honorable courts, thank you for proving this.
It’s a man’s world. Goodbye.
Good call today with the Prime Minister of Pakistan @CMShehbaz Sharif to hear his assessment on the Iran war, as well as the outcome of the recent consultations between the Foreign Ministers of Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye held in Islamabad.
The EU is gravely concerned over the prolongation of the war and its increasing global impact.
I wish Pakistan all the best for its peace endeavours. The EU supports all mediation efforts. Only dialogue and diplomacy can bring peace and stability back to the Middle East, in full respect of the UN Charter and international law.
Pakistan is the rare country that has warm ties w/US & Iran but also the GCC states, Turkey & China. Heck, its ties w/Russia are good too. This may not bring piece to the Mideast, but it gives Pakistan diplomatic alignments that line up well to position itself as a facilitator.
The blues of Operation Sundor:
"Pakistan must confer its highest civil award, Nishan-e-Pakistan, upon Narendra Modi. Because operation Sundor, launched by Narender Modi, has had a long-lasting impact on Pakistan, transforming it from a pariah state into a fulcrum of the emerging world order.
Pakistan should honor Prime Minister Modi for enabling this transformation - raising Pakistan from the depths to a position of global relevance - a position once held by India before Operation Sundor.
We (India) used to be the world’s peacemakers. Now, ironically, the world- yes except India - is looking toward Pakistan to help restore order and peace and Islamabad is going to be the Versailles of twenty first century. Nobody has helped Pakistan as much as Modi's foreign policy"..says Mani Shankar Aiyar - former Indian diplomat and Indian Union minister - on his YouTube channel. @ManiShankarAyar
Every Pakistani citizen should be proud of being a Pakistani today!! Here’s why??
1. When entire region including those considered heavenly safe had sleepless nights, Pakistan was enjoying a peaceful sleep.
2. When No Tanker was allowed to Pass Strait of Hormuz, Pakistan made it to its Port smoothly.
3. Pakistan bent Afghanistan/Afghan Taliban on its knees and repeatedly asked for Ceasefire which Pakistan accepted in good faith.
4. Pakistan exhibited excellent diplomacy by keeping its relations balanced with US, IRAN, CHINA, RUSSIA, GCC at the same time.
5. Now, on the back door, as reporter by Axios, Pakistan alongside Turkey and Egypt is Playing an active role in de-escalation of War.
Amazing times to be alive.
Pakistan Zindabad ❤️❤️
A serving Major in the Indian Army who went abroad for an official meeting has filed a case of political asylum there. This comes across as major embarrassment for the Indian government. Godi media is stunned but silent. Come on guys give us all the details. What did he say why does he want to get asylum there???
This ‘no shaking hands’ is such a silly thing that India has started. It’s unbecoming of a nation like ours. Either play properly within the spirit of the game or don’t play at all.
