Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei earned $18 Million in 2025, mostly from stock and options.
His salary was raised to $1.4M this July, while Anthropic is preparing for a potential IPO as early as this fall at a valuation above $2 Trillion.

Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley have begun syndicating a $60B debt package tied to Anthropic’s lease of Google-designed AI chips supplied through Broadcom $AVGO, the largest chip-financing deal to date.
The financing includes:
• $42B of senior secured debt supported by Broadcom, which has begun bank syndication
• $18B of junior debt without Broadcom guarantees
• Blackstone has already committed about $9B to the junior tranche
The proceeds are expected to fund Anthropic’s 2027 chip orders, with lease payments beginning once the chips are delivered.
Broadcom is partially backstopping the financing to help lower Anthropic’s borrowing costs. Its A- credit rating could also allow the $42B senior portion to eventually be sold to a broader investor base through private placements or investment-grade bonds.
The deal centers on Google $GOOGL tensor processing units being developed with Broadcom as an alternative to Nvidia $NVDA GPUs for large-scale AI workloads.
Anthropic could also issue up to $42B of convertible notes to Broadcom to cover lease payments, according to Broadcom filings cited by FT.
