Orwellian.
Friends, I urge you to listen. 'Trust Exchange' is not just about linking identities to social accounts; it's about stripping away the anonymity that allows free speech to flourish. It's about ensuring that every word you write, every opinion you share, can be traced back to you. This is not protection; this is surveillance. This is not safety; this is control.
This is '1984'. here the government controlled thought, where 'Big Brother' watched over every citizen, where truth was what the eSafety office deemed it to be. Today, we are at risk of turning that fiction into our reality. The 'Trust Exchange', under the guise of safety and order, seeks to do what the Thought Police did - to control, to monitor, to dictate what is truth - indeed a real Ministry of Truth.

@fandompulse π―π―. When the Orville is a comedy and parody and yet is immeasurably more Star Trek then anything since Enterprise Itβs sad and ironic. Bring back competence, family friendly shows, positive views on humanity please. Exhibit A - Project Hail Mary. This is the way.
@GFRobot Time to let it rest, till the soil, then bring in some competent talent that actually like science fiction and have genuine Trek credentials β¦ then maybe there is a chance π€
@jondelarroz Movie was ok, book much better, depth and nuance movie has difficulty converying. The rest of the series is excellent, although there is a bit of a shift in the second novel. Power through though, itβs worth it.
