MAKE VENEZUELA GREAT AGAIN
The @StateDept continues to lead a massive response to the earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24. In addition to more than $386 million in humanitarian assistance, we’re leveraging a new partnership with @Amazon, @AirlinkFlight, and the @LogCluster to enhance the humanitarian community’s supply chain and logistical capacity to bring life-saving assistance to the Venezuelan people. https://t.co/4NcExdxW7f
In Part III of my Rebuilding Venezuela series, I share some of what I've been learning about the country's energy sector and why I believe energy is the foundation for everything else

A few months ago, I was kitesurfing in Adícora, on Venezuela's Paraguaná Peninsula.
The wind was incredible.
One day we had sustained +30-knot winds, some of the best kitesurfing conditions I've ever experienced.
You know what else those winds are perfect for? Wind energy.
That's just one of the many fascinating things I've learned while researching the incredible opportunities our country has to offer.
Part 2 of my Rebuilding Venezuela series is out.

Did you know the state of Guárico in Venezuela has geographic conditions that could make it an attractive location for future space launches? Imagine seeing SpaceX rockets launching from Guárico. Sounds crazy, right? 🚀🇻🇪
I’m sure @elonmusk knows about this already.
The recent earthquake didn't change my conviction about Venezuela's future.
It strengthened it. My hope is that these articles inspire others, to think about how we can each contribute to what I believe will be one of the most important generational efforts of our lifetime.
The great lie is that society is divided between rich and poor.
The great truth, as David Friedberg puts it, is makers vs takers.
Makers build, create, and deliver real value: houses, software, art, businesses, and everything that moves civilization forward.
Takers watch, criticize, analyze, and politic. They push the lie that the rich hoard unfairly so the poor must seize it… all while positioning themselves to rule the chaos.
As @friedberg tells his kids: “At the end of the day, if you made something and someone else valued it, you were a maker. That was an amazing achievement. That is a great day.”
Takers thrive on division. Makers drive progress.
Time to choose your side.
El gran amigo Julio Peña @juliopodemos de la Guaira me envía este video resumen del Venezuela First World... en 9 minutos condensa la esencia del planteamiento para la Reconstrucción Nacional de $6 billones. Muy bien hecho. ¡Gracias!
Para los tuiteros audiovisuales, con cariño.
I’m coming to the conclusion that the biggest challenge for Enterprise AI, and AI in general , as of now, is that it’s still impossible to make sure that everyone gets the same answer to the same question, every time.
Which is a great response to the doomers. AI doesn’t know the consequences of its output.
Judgement and the ability to challenge AI output is becoming increasingly necessary, and valuable.
Which makes domain knowledge more valuable by the second.
Am I wrong ?
Sé que falta mucho pero la limpeza social de los enchufados, vendidos y falsos opositores será responsabilidad de todos los venezolanos.
Debemos ser firmes con esto.
I tell companies I'll help them build secure, reliable, and extensible software. Nobody cares. They don't call me back.
I tell them I'll help them build AI-first software. Everyone wants to talk to me.
I don't even know what "AI-first" means.
It's a bubble.
