The two movies dominating film discourse this weekend are a new restoration of a film from 1971 and a 3 hour documentary from Nathan Fielder. What a time to be alive.
"You Can See Everything" de Nathan Fielder se convierte en la obra con mayor nota de todo Letterboxd con un 4.8/5, algo nunca visto en la plataforma
Esto es histórico
part of the power of The Rehearsal/Nathan For You is obviously in Nathan Fielder as an exaggerated, performatively dry character but i think You Can See Everything specifically excels because it completely drops any of that pretense. it’s him and these people without any artifice
when *that* actor showed up I thought it’d be a quick cameo but they ended up becoming an integral part of the rest of the film and I honestly think they deserve an Oscar nomination. Outstanding performance and chemistry with Fielder
I audibly gasped like 7 times during YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING and my jaw is still on the floor. Fielder remains a truly singular visionary upending what we all thought was possible for documentaries. We’ll look back in 20 years and realize this movie changed the genre forever. WOW.
Nathan Fielder’s Magnum Opus. It feels like everything he ever made was just practice for meeting Elizabeth Holmes and her husband.
The first half is an extended Nathan For You episode. The second half spirals into something unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
Just to be clear, I am not leaving The Batman Part II. I am profoundly grateful to Steven for coming to my aid during this challenging time to help me finish principal photography. Thank you to all for your concern and well wishes. 🦇
