@bibhabtalukdar@SentinelAssam@assamforest Numligarh had blocked an elephant corridor to build township. Instead of asking how that was permitted, this shadow of a newspaper with low-paid, untrained journalists playing to the gallery and rooting for power that allowed destruction of elephant habitat. Shame!
Marshall Baruah has again painted the walls, this time in Jorhat in support of Gibbon and against Vedanta. Assam Govt whitewashed his earlier painting in Guwahati. More power to you, Marshall.
Someone should look at litigation bills of Govt and public bodies. These are avoidable public expenditure primarily arising out of wrong decisions of executives. Why people should pay for wrong decisions of babus?
@ranojpeguassam@KKHSOU1@higherednassam Please order to update this data sir https://t.co/fgJL5T55Jy
We had only 4 lakh enrolment in higher education in 2016-17. If @KKHSOU1 has enrolled 1 lakh learners, it's a great achievement.
Look at the pride, the sense of achievement he displays... Wonder why would anyone desire to kill like this?
@DhemajiPolice@assamforest@WCCBHQ Has an inquiry being initiated yet?
As the area of #OrangNP has been increased by 200 sq km under the leadership of our Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, I would request Assam govt to provide more manpower to guard the sanctity of newly added areas along with field equipment. @himantabiswa@cmpatowary@mkyadava
Since 2019, three different ministers, 5 different Managing Directors and 4 different Chief Engineers were engaged in JJM. How would accountability fixed?
(Correction - JJM is not WB funded, some mega projects are. JJM is public funded)

85% household have basic drinking water in Assam, 53% use water filters. 92% urban household have drinking water delivered, 71% rural household have drinking water source.
NFHS-5 data. (1)
JJM will actually sale water as the supply will be chargeable like electricity. More than Rs 24000 crores of public money will be spent to collect more money from public? Why cannot we have a Water Cess like education cess and make this basic necessity free? (9)
