For 43 years, one woman’s shop in Pensacola made the Blue Angels’ flight suits. This year, no call. No bid invitation. Nothing.
The Navy quietly handed a contract worth up to $1.69M over 5 years to a Virginia company called Aquila International — a defense equipment broker with no public record of ever manufacturing a fitted garment.
Candy Whitehurst, owner of The Sewing Box: “Before they always announced to me… this year, I didn’t hear from no one.”

NEW: The View’s Sunny Hostin seen using her privilege to try to get her son out of trouble for trespassing, tells police she is a “former federal prosecutor.”
“My name is Sunny Hostin… and I’m a former federal prosecutor,” Hostin said while telling police her son went to Harvard.
The host used her elitist privilege to try to get her son out of trouble after he was busted trespassing along Metro-North Railroad tracks in Westchester County.
“That’s my son. He’s a Harvard graduate, he doesn’t have a criminal record.”
24-year-old Gabriel Hostin claims he was jogging when he saw that the gate near the tracks was open.
He was hit with a trespass violation for what can be an arrestable offense, according to the New York Post.
Hostin has been known to shame others for their “white privilege.”
Remarkable.
@CAgovernor So you just made owning a EV more expensive because people are gonna charge more for those cars and on top of the taxpayer has to pay for this extra budget item lol
