@OnlyGruel@CandiceMalcolm Agreed and this idea that raising taxes will change anything when the Gov operates off the assumption they have UNLIMITED resources and forever deficits. Half the country absolutely hates billionaires but are perfectly okay with these TRILLIONAIRES pointing fingers… what a joke.
NEW: Most of the Ford government's 1 per cent boost to core education funding this year isn't new money.
$234.2M (about 74 per cent of the increase) comes from existing education dollars shifted from other funding envelopes, according to ministry data.

Silly to consider sports tournaments a non-legitimate absence because there’s a teachable moment around balancing school and academics. This isn’t gaining any traction and I say this as a teacher and parent of a high level athlete.
One of the most laughable things on the internet is all the people in our government who have amassed a 39 trillion dollar debt telling us that if they could just tax Elon’s wealth, they could fix everything they have broken. 😂🤡
I think it was more so about trying to get a “aha moment… look a lot of these charities are a fraud” idk what to think about that without seeing the specific financials… more than likely it’s not directly fraud. Is there waste or inefficiencies? Probably but that’s at every organization.
The funds were never spent… so are you saying they provided assurance they will show the exact tracking and tracing? I sorta doubt it because as much as Elon Musk wanted the transparency, it would be quite the privacy constraint/issue to overcome releasing detailed financial info like that publicly.
I’m not even saying the charity was going to act in bad faith. It’s just an absolute mess to have met that demand anyway.
@ti6er74@Amer1can_Barbie It does not. You can plan anything, call it detailed, and that provides NO assurance the funds are properly tracked or allocated once spent. The open source demand, met every dollar was traceable AFTER it was spent, not just planned.
Regardless of what you think about how Trump’s doing America’s 250th, we should all thank God we dodged whatever nationwide humiliation ritual Dems had cooked up.
It’s still becomes everyone’s problem as you can see. Your point, although true, doesn’t change anything. This is the result regardless.
The city willingly planned/approved these neighborhoods based on assumptions that are incompatible with a commuting town requiring duel incomes to afford these new places - that’s all on them.
