Since Morissette is back in musical theatre, here are 6 performances of her singing Broadway and musical theatre songs during the pandemic. 🎭🎤
From Waitress and Cats to Wicked and Miss Saigon, these performances showed just how much she belongs on the musical theatre stage. 🤍
Do foolish things, and reap the consequences.
Hindi tayo balat-sibuyas. We are no strangers to political attacks, and we welcome fair and genuine criticism. Hindi tayo mananatili sa halos tatlong dekada kung mahina ang loob natin. But there is a clear line between political satire and outright discrimination.
When political attacks stoop to mocking the appearance and physical condition of persons with disabilities, especially a stroke survivor, we draw that line. This is the reason why RA 7277 or the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons protects PWDs from vilification, ridicule and discrimination.
Political caricature is one thing, ridiculing a person’s disability is another. There is a world of difference between the two, and no amount of political disagreement justifies crossing that line.
This is no longer just about Akbayan Rep. Perci Cendaña. This is for every person with a disability who has been mocked, discriminated against, or treated with cruelty because of how they look or the condition they live with. We make a stand for them.
Just found out that the 2 justices who voted to give Revilla bail were appointed by party boy and gongdi, respectively. The dissenting justice, who did NOT think bail was deserved, was appointed by PNoy.
You are free to make your own conclusion. 🔥
LOOK: In his dissenting opinion, Sandiganbayan Third Division Chairperson Associate Justice Karl Miranda asserted that there is strong evidence implicating former senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. as a principal conspirator who allegedly initiated and secured funding for the alleged ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.
He said Revilla’s alleged role should not be viewed separately from the overall scheme within the DPWH, where projects are allegedly used to collect commissions or kickbacks.
He added that it was inconsistent to allow Revilla, who allegedly benefited from the scheme, to post bail while his co-accused remained in detention.
Despite Associate Justice Miranda’s dissenting opinion, the majority decision granting Revilla bail for his malversation case remains in effect. | via @KaxandraSalonga
No less than the sitting chairperson of the Sandiganbayan’s Third Division, Associate Justice Karl B. Miranda, has opposed the grant of bail to former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. in connection with the pending malversation case linked to the alleged anomalous P92.8-million flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.

My integrity is my first and last line of defense and I will fight to defend it with all my might. Sen Cayetano has crossed the line by attacking it.
As of this morning, I’m still counting informants and witnesses, directly or through intermediaries, willing to provide information and evidence to put him in his proper place - the Payatas, QC jail.
If you want this destabiliser investigated, arrested where warranted by law at the soonest time, and charged with the appropriate offenses, please like and repost.
Let us call upon the government and the competent authorities to enforce our accountability mechanisms with urgency, impartiality, and resolve—without fear or favour against those who continuously undermine our institutions, sow division and disorder, and seek to wrest power from a legitimately elected President.
Their actions have become increasingly clear. He arrogated unto himself powers and authority that were never his to exercise. He worked in concert with a purported Blue Ribbon Committee that lacked the proper authority of the Senate, in an attempt to bastardise established institutions and lawful processes. They came dangerously close to succeeding once again.
We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, this serial destabiliser, his network of corrupt political allies, and their 18 delivery syndicates.
We likewise condemn the Cayetano group of opportunistic politicians whose overriding objective is the acquisition of power, the preservation of impunity, and the protection of personal and political interests at the expense of institutional integrity and the rule of law.
