Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla on Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida’s statement that gambling tycoon Charlie “Atong” Ang is “still in the country.”
“What he said is possible. None of the records show that he left through our ports of entry/exit. Our intelligence analysis points that he exited through the backdoor of the Philippines. In the end, we both can be correct,” Remulla told the Inquirer. | @andreagINQ
Mixing homophobia with ignorance plus a side of entitlement and a dash of arrogance produces this kind of garbage that, sadly, has the blessing of the patriarchy.
Labanan ang katangahan! 🎯
“nagbubuild up yung HIV dahil sa germs… tae tae yun eh”
“eh sa pussy, may self-cleaning sila kahit hndi naliligo.”
My gosh! Sino tong mga VOVOMAX na to? Nagresearch muna sana.
Machong Chupaan 😂
The political elites understand class solidarity. That's why they can disagree publicly, negotiate privately, and remain united when their collective interests are threatened.
There is no need for billionaires. None whatsoever.
In fact, given the destruction they wreak on so many facets of our lives, we must do what needs to be done. 🔥
In 2024, Oxfam identified 23 superyachts owned by 18 billionaires. The ave annual carbon footprint of each yacht was 5,672 tonnes. For an average citizen of the world it would take EIGHT HUNDRED & SIXTY YEARS (860 years!) to produce the same amount.

Is robinhood supposed to play Rene? Ginawang afterthought nalang yung parents ni Rene, as in "baka may gusto kayong sabihin" after matapos litanya ni robinhood.
Can't blame the parents...May nakikinig sa kanila 👀

WATCH: Senators Alan Peter Cayetano and Robin Padilla were joined by parents of Rene Baterbonia in a livestream on Tuesday, Oct. 10, where they discussed the upcoming movie about the late athlete who passed away in June.
“...Itong pelikulang ‘to, ang dami-dami pong pinagdadaanan na pagsubok,” Padilla said.

I’m always astonished that billionaires would rather ignore the climate crisis and prepare to live in a bunker with dvds and baked beans than devote a modicum of their bottomless wealth to saving the planet where we have fresh fruit and soft grass and blue skies.
Bertolt Brecht
Definitely top of my list kapag may genie lamp akong makita. Get rid of all billionaires and capitalism. Ang daming problemang mawawala, practically everything can be fixed by then.
The world cannot afford billionaires anymore. Humanity cannot afford billionaires anymore. Homelessness. Starvation. Climate Change. Being a billionaire is immoral. It should be outlawed for the sake of the 99% of humans on this planet.
Not enough people know this: in practice, the IMF is controlled by the US.
The US is the only country that has de facto veto power at the IMF because the biggest decisions require an 85% supermajority of total voting power. The US' vote share is 16.5%
This was by design, and the supermajority threshold was actually moved in 1978 so that the US vote share would continue to give the country veto power.
We should not see the IMF as an organisation that serves global development.
We should see is as an organisation that serves mainly Western interests — and, above all, US interests.
The older I get, the more left I have moved sa spectrum. Kaya lahat tinitignan ko - political votes mo, religious beliefs mo, soc med posts mo, kasi they reveal who you are and what your character is.
| via @_KarenDeGuzman
