We are thrilled to share that Project ADHUNA participated at the AMOGS Conference 2026 this past Sunday, March 15!
Our mission has always been rooted in awareness, but to truly move the needle, we know we can’t do it alone.
The Core Discussion:
How can Project ADHUNA evolve?
The answer lies in collaboration. We focused on:
Integrating Wisdom: Partnering with seasoned medical veterans to add depth to our outreach.
Effective Dissemination: Leveraging the clinical experience of doctors to ensure our health awareness campaigns are as impactful as they are accurate.
A massive thank you to the organizers and the brilliant medical minds at AMOGS for welcoming our vision. We’re coming away inspired and ready to build a network that leaves no one behind.

Together, we move forward with renewed commitment to strengthening quality of care and ensuring safer, more dignified maternal and newborn health services across India.
ADHUNA is a comprehensive initiative designed to improve quality of maternal and child health in the private sector. Dr. Jaideep Malhotra (FOGSI President 2018) and Dr. Nandita Palshetkar (FOGSI President 2019) explain the importance of prevention and early detection of postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) and simple steps such as use of calibrated drapes, massaging the uterus and use of uterotonics that can help manage the bleeding.

Behind every safe delivery is a team that’s skilled, supported, and prepared.
Under Project ADHUNA, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) trainings serve as core engagement platform for clinicians and paramedics to train them on evidence-based best practices and innovations to improve quality of intrapartum care. A pool of 80 Master Trainers helped us make this happen.
ADHUNA has concluded its first set of CPDs in 29 districts of UP, Bihar, MP and Odisha, covering E-MOTIVE bundle to manage PPH, IV FCM to manage anaemia, and other aspects of quality care such as early breastfeeding, newer options for family planning, and effective health communication, etc.
These in-person workshops create a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement across private health facilities.
Project ADHUNA is investing in people, skills, and systems — because quality care begins with capable care teams.

Closing insights from our Tackling Maternal Anaemia session at #WHSNewDelhi2025
“We must treat low Hb in pregnancy with greater seriousness. Women with anaemia are less tolerant of blood loss, raising the risk of PPH. Prevention must start preconception and continue throughout pregnancy.”
– Dr. Jaydeep Tank, Immediate Past President, @fogsiofficial
New data from DABS shows maternal anaemia levels may be 8–9% lower than estimated.
“To Test, Treat and Track better, we need innovations—non-invasive screening, real-time treatment algorithms, and point-of-care serum ferritin testing.”
– Dr. Reema Mukherjee, @ICMRDELHI
