Done watching the HINDI VERSION of #DC today and WHAT A FILM IT IS 🙏🏻

Keeps you engaged right from the opening scene and never really loses momentum from there. The 1st HALF does a SOLID JOB of setting up the world. I literally loved the INTERVAL BLOCK, MARRIAGE HALL FIGHT, and the build-up to the Interval, where it PEAKS 📈, while the 2nd HALF delivers some genuinely exciting moments like the POLICE STATION WHOLE EPISODE. The BIGGEST PLUS is the CLIMAX, which is the biggest highlight✅

#Anirudh literally sets the theatre on FIRE with his BGM in these sequences. One of his CAREER’S BEST BGM SCORES after #Jailer & #Jawan for me 🧨 Talking about performances, both #LokeshKanagaraj and #WamiqaGabbi are PHENOMENAL in the film. They completely own every emotional scene, their dialogue delivery is superb, and their chemistry throughout the film is MINDBOGGLING… award-worthy performances by both 👏🏻 Their CHEMISTRY is actually the backbone of the film !! Apart from this, Lokesh’s scenes with Sanjana are beautifully written and executed !

Technically, the film is BRILLIANT. The CINEMATOGRAPHY, EDITING, and SOUND DESIGN are all TOP TIER and elevate almost every major sequence!! Credit to Arun Matheswaran as well as he delivers one of his most ENGAGING films to date with great camera angles, excellent direction, and fair control over the runtime of the film 🎬

The film isn’t perfect though. A few portions in the 2nd HALF could have been tighter, which would have elevated it even more… but yes, those who want to watch something DARK and bloody violent should not miss this at all ✅

Overall, #DC is a thoroughly entertaining action drama with excellent performances, top-class technical work, and a sensational BGM by Anirudh. Definitely a film worth watching on the big screen… MAZAA AANE WALA HAI 💥🍿
