@gpassosgomes @LatinXChem Hi, sorry for the late response. We noticed that as we tested different thioureas the yield and reactivity also decreased, specifically with the alkylation project. In addition, we tried a variety of ureas that also had a decrease in yield as well.

@tobiasgensch @LatinXChem Hi, the advantage of using photoacids in these reactions is that they provide more mild reaction conditions. In addition they also provide a greener alternative to traditional methods of making these products
