Is the Rockets’ biggest “deadline addition” rehabbing in street clothes?
@TheSteinLine reported FVV might not be out for the season. A late-March return would flirt with ACL history — and it directly targets Houston’s biggest weakness.

@PeterVecsey1 First picture is Nikita, she’s the one who passed at 13 yo, the second is Niki with my father just days after he arrived at their door (he’s very passionate about car rides since he got there 😂)
@PeterVecsey1 Just weeks after my parents lost both of their dogs of 13 & 11 yrs to cancer in a span of 4 months, a dog very close in appearance to the 13 yo one simply appeared at their front door in a rainy cold day. It’ll be 2 yrs since and he has been the joy of their life.
@PeterVecsey1 It’ll be a beautiful thing when it happens, we may change their lives forever when we rescue them, but I’m convinced in the end they’re the ones saving us all along
@SportsStatsFan@nbarealist23 Very interesting view. I watched all Shaq & Duncan careers, but was born a bit late for Dream’s. I have him above Shaq, but my case for Duncan over both is how he was the engine to that sustained excellence SAS had, I don’t think with Shaq or Dream in his place they win 5 in SAS
@SportsStatsFan@nbarealist23 I’m with you on Curry, Kobe, Shaq & Dream being interchangeable, depending on what you’re prioritizing in the rating, but Duncan I have higher, ahead of even Bird if we’re going with Bill’s list. What’s your criteria in placing Shaq & Hakeem over Timmy?
@SportsStatsFan@nbarealist23 I’m definitely with you on Dream & Shaq for sure need to be above KD, but for them to jump into Top 10, someone has to come out. Curry & Kobe are the ones at 9-10. Would you put Diesel & Hakeem over them? (Honest question, as I don’t have a silver bullet answer to this one)
@arhooptalk@Louisll260896 The total lack of score and time awareness is crazy, I was speechless when I saw him do that. He literally gave the Spurs their only chance at a tie trying to block a 7’6” guy…
@maliikawalker Klutch propaganda is really the worst part of basketball discourse, not only about MJ, but disrespecting all the pioneers who paved the way in the 60s, 70s and so on. Basketball didn’t start in 2003 like they try to make it out to be.
@arhooptalk Dream average night would be a mix of Embiid’s best on offense, Gobert’s best on D, but with the ability to guard on the perimeter. Wemby might still be the better defender overall, but that’s about it
@arhooptalk It’s for sure a pandemic on that, but they were worse mentally/emotionally for most of the game, making mistakes on D way more than their regular threshold, it’s why I think lack of experience factored in it
Jason Terry says the Dallas Mavericks had ZERO answers for Dwyane Wade in the 2011 Finals👀
“D-Wade was a monster at that time in his career. There was no defensive gameplan you could do to stop him. We tried. Did not work. So we wanted to focus our energy on LeBron and kind of eliminate what Chris Bosh could do. It started with Bron though.”

Shoutout to those 5'10" chain-smoking plumbers who apparently managed to stretch themselves to an average height of 6'6" just for game days.
Centers in 1962 averaged 6'10.5". Centers in 2020 averaged 6'10.9". The overall league average height for both eras? Exactly 6'6".
@haiti4eva That’s what I was thinking, it’d be slam-dunk city all-day everyday. They might’ve won less than the original team, but they’d surely have more highlights with that trio running the break 😂
