Happy Birthday to one of the Greatest Disruptors in the history of India.

How Rabindranath Tagore got & broke the news of his Nobel Prize. He was chairing a meeting on fund-raising for drainage repair in the school he had founded in Santiniketan when he was handed a telegram. He read it, looked up & said, “The money for the drains has just been found.”
@deepakshenoy agree. in fact that s a particularly good example - because both deal in gold, they need to build enough trust for customers to pledge their liquid assets to them at (often) 15-20% haircuts. But my point stands - if you are retail facing, you need good service
The best investors do nothing 99% of the time.
They sit on their hands, sometimes for years, preparing.
Reading, thinking, analyzing.
