@joe5talin@saturnsavampire@TS09_LFC We created loads of big chances in the second half. They were extremely lucky it was only 2-0.
The commentators were saying that Ipswich would be optimistic about the season ahead after the game and I remember thinking that was the biggest load of crap I'd ever heard.
@valen29130@averageoldgamer@assna_maz It's not a lie. It's just you chose to compare statistics irrelevant to each other.
Carrying a knife in the UK is considered a knife crime. Carrying a gun in the US obviously isn't.
Why do you think the knife CRIME stat is so much higher than the gun DEATH one?
@Emmanue18905148@ak1981uk So you'd have been happy with Kompany with his 13% winrate at Liverpool? Almost as if the winrate is irrelevant to you, due to something else.
And as a PL manager (the most relevant experience), Iraola won more than Kompany. A lot more games, more MOTM and less relegations.
@liverpxxl9 I don't understand why anyone is comparing Bournemouth's season to Liverpool's in a vacuum anyway. They are very different clubs in terms of quality.
The only thing that's relevant is that he turned Bournemouth from a bottom half club into a Europa one. That's impressive.
@Jimmyballsg@hungryhorsepokr Oh. Ok, I mean... obviously sometimes betting is better than checking, yeah.
I assume OP posted the above example to give a clear demonstration where it isn't.
@Emmanue18905148@ak1981uk Yeah it's stupid.
Kompany had a 13% winrate with Burnley in the PL. Heard he's doing alright at Bayern though.
Because the clubs are incomparable. Just like Liverpool and Bournemouth.
@fattimberwolf69@VanjaPoker You just need to play better than villain.
And considering you're taking the time to be online discussing poker, that is really likely to be something you can do vs. most live players.
@GodMode248 When you overbet the turn, in theory you're probably meant to bluff the river frequently in most spots too.
But in actuality, it's burning money at smaller stakes imo. They fold to the overbet too much so therefore land with a stronger range than they should on the river.
@Emmanue18905148@ak1981uk Emery would've been my choice to be honest.
But bitching and moaning on the Internet whilst trying to show why you're right and the club is wrong on the Internet isn't my thing.
Just wait and see. Might be great.
@Emmanue18905148@ak1981uk Again... amazing how you can tell the future. I'm not saying I think he's the perfect choice above all others. I'm saying that judging him based on a winrate at Bournemouth is stupid.
@Jimmyballsg@hungryhorsepokr Check-calling vs. a range that is almost guaranteed to be overbluffing has to be way better than trying to extract value from ace high here.
@ak1981uk@Emmanue18905148 He improved them by 18 points from where they were when he took over.
Bournemouth have a much lower ceiling than Liverpool. There's limits to what any manager can achieve at a club like that. Simply put, he got them to the best they've ever been. That has to be worth something.
