@RoyalMail submitted a claim for a lost item including a photograph of proof of postage, with the barcode ID etc.
It was rejected with a reply stating that “and we can confirm that the item has not yet been posted.”
So…how did I get proof of postage then?
So I bought these battery backs less than 3 months ago from @ESRgear and they are already swelling! No reply from their customer services about a refund or how to dispose of them safely!
@currys@CurrysServices Alas, X direct messaging doesn't have any power either, they just tell me to contact the webchat ... who as I've told them, can't do anything and look at old chats.
@ninja_padrino@flugga_muckle Many moons ago I used to live on Fukue!
Can confirm it’s an island paradise, beautiful beaches, (Takahama), great food (Goto Beef / Goto Udon), and a picturesque lighthouse (Osezaki) on the far side that you can watch the sun set on Japan from. I need to visit again too!
@JeffWilliaml @RoyalMailHelp@RoyalMail please see this reply, your help is so bad at replying to people, and your customers are so desperate for help, they are falling for scam accounts that impersonate you like @JeffWilliaml here!
@RoyalMail@RoyalMailHelp just received an email saying that you couldn’t collect as no-one was home.
I’m literally right here, and have doorbell footage of the postman walking across the drive this morning to deliver post to neighbours either side of me.
@Mulboyne At first I thought you were talking about out of they display prices including tax, or excluding tax!
I wonder if there is any correlation or patterns there
@PostOffice queue of people at Waltham cross, no one at the counter for 15 minutes now.
One member of staff has been sotting in the office cashing up before you have even closed. She’s had said she can’t help us they are doing end of day, surely it’s not end of day yet?
@siany_d@PostOffice I get some people work different shifts, and if you want to leave early fine, lock the door at 17:00, serve the customers there, then deal with the admin. Not sure how you can excuse leaving a queue of people waiting for an unmanned till for 20 + minutes in any retail environment
@siany_d@PostOffice Opening hours were until 17:30, when I arrived a scribbled note on the door said they were closing at 17:00. When I spoke to the person they said they started cash up early because they wanted to be out the door by 17:45. When it got to 16:55 they abandoned serving any customers.
@PostOffice Thanks for the reply and the apology. Better customer service than your staff - couldn’t believe my ears when they said they wouldn’t serve anyone, despite the giant queue of people. And justifying starting the end of day early because they they wanted to finish by a certain time
Gave up after 20 mins of waiting. No apologies from staff, just an excuse they had to be finished by 17:45, hence starting cashing up at 16:45 and unable to race the growing queue. Other member of staff was in the back dealing with the post collection so couldn’t help either.
