@_daftdunk @2brasswashers If the distance from the pivot to where the force is applied is extended, you’d be correct. Say, moving your hand farther down handle. However, extending the length past the pivot on the wrench would have an opposite effect.

@_daftdunk @2brasswashers Almost right…the distance from the pivot on the wrench is fixed. Installed straight on the applied torque would be less than the set point, not greater. Extra credit: What would the applied torque be if installed at 90° from wrench handle?
