MISSING CHILD ALERT: HELP US FIND 6-YEAR-OLD FATI

A family in Accra is urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating 6-year-old Fati, who has been missing since Saturday, June 21, 2026.

Fati disappeared from Nima 441, Alaska, Accra, directly in front of her family home under circumstances that have left her loved ones devastated.

According to her guardian, Aisha, Fati was with her mother, who sells eggs in front of their home, when it began to drizzle. Fati had gotten slightly wet, and her mother asked her to go inside the house to change into dry clothes. The house was only a few steps away, and she was expected to return immediately so they could go out to get something to eat.

A few minutes later, as the rain intensified, family members moved indoors and called for Fati, only to discover that she had vanished. Despite extensive searches and reports made to the police, community leaders, and other relevant authorities, there has been no trace of her.

The family now fears that Fati may have been abducted and is pleading with the public to assist in any way possible.

Anyone with information about Fati's whereabouts, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is urged to contact:

A guy asked me out and I politely declined. But after I said no, he said something that actually made me laugh.

I laughed… because there are two things you can never pressure me into: leaving God and getting married.

One thing many women need to understand is this, fear is a powerful tool. And some men know how to use it. The moment you reject them, they switch to fear tactics:
“You’re not getting younger.”
“Women have biological clocks.”
“No man will marry you at this rate.”
“Don’t be too selective.”
“At least someone wants you.”

That’s not concern, that’s manipulation.

Society has conditioned women to fear being single more than they fear being unhappy. So some end up in relationships just to avoid the label “single.”

But that’s dangerous.

I’ve seen women marry early and still lose themselves not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I’m talking about the death of purpose, dreams, identity, joy.

Not because marriage is bad but because they entered it from pressure, not peace.

We hear a lot about “late marriage,” but not enough about “wrong marriage.” And a wrong marriage can bury you while you’re still alive.

I remember a lady in my neighborhood whose biggest goal was to marry before 30. People advised her to slow down, but she wouldn’t listen.

At 29, she got married. Seven months later, she returned home pregnant… barely alive. That marriage almost destroyed her.

And sadly, many women are still walking into situations like that, because they’ve been made to believe being unmarried is worse than being unhappy.

Ladies, don’t settle out of fear. Don’t let age rush you into a lifetime decision. Yes, early marriage is beautiful, but not if it costs you your peace, your purpose, or your life.

It’s better for people to say you married late than for them to call you “Late Mrs.”

Calm down. Choose wisely. Choose peace.

From the Lecture Halls of Legon to the Moon: Celebrating Christina Koch

I join the University of Ghana and the entire nation in celebrating NASA Astronaut Christina Koch on her historic membership of the Artemis II mission.

It is a point of immense pride to learn that Christina, the only woman on this pioneering lunar mission, was once an exchange student at our very own University of Ghana during the 1999/2000 academic year.

Her time at Legon was not just a passing visit; she truly immersed herself in our culture and heritage. By studying the History of Ghana, the History of Africa, Rural Sociology, Music, and even Twi for Beginners, she built a foundation of global citizenship right here in Accra.

Her gesture of hoisting the Ghanaian flag in outer space was a deeply touching moment for every Ghanaian. It is a testament to the fact that no matter how far one travels, even into the vastness of space, the friendships made and the lessons learned stay with you.

Christina’s journey from the classrooms of the University of Ghana to the frontiers of space exploration serves as a powerful inspiration to every young Ghanaian. It reminds us that our educational institutions continue to produce and shape global leaders who break barriers and reach for the stars.

On behalf of a proud nation, I wish Christina Koch and the entire Artemis II crew godspeed on your return journey to earth. May your success continue to inspire generations across Ghana, Africa, and the world to believe that there's no height that is insurmountable.
