@Paul_Framp AI may make medical diagnoses more accurate and faster, but that likely means more people go to the doctor more often, not that doctors can work less. We’re healthier, but still working a lot.

@Paul_Framp Try to move to even shorter work weeks. However, countries in this stage almost always rack up major debts and eventually have to deleverage, resulting in wealth destruction and a new generation that gets ahead by working 6 days. Prisoner’s dilemma of hard work!
@Paul_Framp Ray Dalio suggests there are 5 stages in countries’ long term cycles. For brevity, as countries build wealth they often move from 6 day work weeks to 5. Once they are at peak wealth, those who had to work 6 just to make ends meet have died off and new generations (1/2)
