We've put forward a proposal around TIDs that we hope to have discussions around and create a win-win for buyers and sellers:
* Encrypted TIDs
* Decryption keys go to DSPs that:
1) Multi-bid into pub inventory
2) Provide net bid price data back to pubs

In addition, Raptive will be turning TIDs on.
We hope this proposal can spur conversation and clean up the ecosystem! Full article at:

@JudSpencer@HatesAdtech I'm not sure TBH of the exact mode right now but I assume that it is 1 TID per connection (e.g., magnite client vs magnite server would be different). which does allow for diagnosing issues intra-ssp-path, but not between them.. and obviously not across all. i need more info.
Net/net, content creators and marketers need to start adapting - now. Search trends are changing rapidly, and if you don't get ahead of the trends, you stand to lose ground quickly. 8/8
OpenAI announced today that ChatGPT Search (fka SearchGPT) is fully available for everyone to use, without even needing a signup. https://t.co/19bRuyqDeg 1/
Google has the most to lose right now as user behavior starts to shift. They're working hard on features like AI Overviews and new Gemini models, but you'd think Google would want allies, and it seems like they're just thumbing their nose at the market. 7/
Just listened to @marketecture.tv 2025 predictions podcast and @aripaparo.com's prediction that Google is 100% going to announce divestiture of its adtech raises a lot of interesting questions and issues. I agree it's likely but I also think it will likely benefit Google. 1/
