‘What is best for everyone is a TRANSFER’? Best for everyone? Best for him, maybe. Not for Atlético Madrid, the club that signed him, paid the money and gave him the platform. You don’t decide what’s best for everyone when you’re still wearing their shirt. That’s not honesty — that’s selfishness dressed up as transparency.

You’ll NEVER see proper professionals or real team players doing this. The Argentina boys have won major trophies together because they respect each other and the process. They don’t go around publicly announcing their dream club and telling their current team a transfer is best for everyone. Those lads fight for the shirt they’re wearing right now.

Atlético brought him in to be the main striker. They gave him the chance. Now after a bit of success he’s already telling everyone Barcelona is the dream and he wants out?

You show respect to the club that pays you. You perform on the pitch, you win things where you are, and then you talk about moves if they come. You don’t force it by going to the media and saying a transfer is best for everyone.

He IS at Atlético Madrid right now. The standards, the mentality, the fight — that’s what you respect. If Alvarez wants to be great, he should be focused on delivering for Atlético and proving himself there, not announcing his dream and calling for a transfer. Otherwise he’ll be another player who talked too much about his dream club and forgot about the one that’s actually employing him.”

@Statsatm De acuerdo en la mayoría de cosas. Discrepo en bandas . Creo que Nico y Giu tienen las mismas virtudes y defectos y lo que hace falta regate puro. Y lo que me parece imprescindible sin Grizi y con Lookman de SD es un organizador (¿Bernardo?)

@asperomundo Y estoy de acuerdo contigo en lo que hablas de que ya no vale con el mantra "darlo todo". Mi visión es que el fútbol es mucho más rápido hoy (+ toma de decisiones) y esto exige convencimiento en qué hacer, cuándo y cómo y tb + improvisación (ej.Arteta) que al Cholo le cuesta

1) Esos datos no son del todo malos :)
2) Razones del bajón post 2016 son obvios (creo) en base a la pérdida de calidad individual en muchas posiciones clave (Laterales, centrales, pivote, 9)
3) Falta convencer en la evolución del juego - aquí sí culpo al Cholo-

Es acojonante la prensa futbolística española. Hace 3 semanas el RM era una plantilla llena de medianías que no podía competir por nada...hoy es ya un equipo hecho y derecho que va a competir Liga y Champions. Qué poca paciencia se tiene en general

@Blayasensat El problema del ATM lo veo más en el medio...si quiere presionar ese Koke+Mendoza lo veo débil, y sacar a Llorente del Lateral supone mover a Pubill. Lo de la mantita corta, sin Barrios se multiplica

@Blayasensat Super buena esa previa. Aunque creo que un factor importante vs. ese partido de Liga es el Pubill central, que a diferencia de Lenglet + Gimenez si que tiene mas capacidades de defender arriba y encimar al MP

@javihermelo Yo es que creo que este equipo, con la falta de ideas que tiene, tienes que potenciarlo desde el minuto 0. Ayer se sale con rotaciones pensando en el jueves, y lo que funcionaba de meter a los “buenos” en el 60 ya no pasa, porque al equipo le falta fútbol y confianza

@InakoDiazGuerra Iñako, yo creo que el Cholo ya ha pasado página con eso (como ejemplo las sustituciones en el 60) y creo que la decisión pasa más por dar descanso a Grizi de cara al Jueves…en 3 días salimos de dudas
